A word from Alchemy Speakeasy
In 1920, the Volstead Act was passed in an attempt to banish alcohol
from American life. The result was a vast movement of scofflaws who flouted the unpopular act, seeking out illegal means to acquire and sell the "sinful spirits" that were a major part of American culture. During this time, outlaw drinking establishments called speakeasies began to appear throughout America's major cities. The proprietors of these establishments relied on secrecy and guile to hide their operations. They often featured unmarked entrances, secret doors, or basement locations far from the prying eyes of the public. We offer artisan cocktails created by our master bartenders using fresh, local ingredients, tailor-made to your tastes.
Alchemy is available for private events Sunday - Wednesday. Please contact the restaurant for more information.
