the restaurant is small but they also have a patio with seating outside.. we ate inside by a window which had great views
of the desert and surrounding area.
the service was very good and the food was too. if we stay at this resort again, I would enjoy eating at this
restaurant again. We had massages at the Scottsdale Spa downstairs then went upstairs for lunch. The best dish was the Pokie Tuna with avocado. My friend had the Wagu burger which she said was very good. I had the trio lunch special- poblano soup, house simple salad, and half a pineapple bacon grilled cheese sandwich. For dessert, we had the pineapple crumble with vanilla ice-cream. Everything was very good and we ate for less than $30 using the Local dines coupon for Alchemy- pay $25 for $50 worth of food. But is amazing that the ditzy "kid" at the hostess stand has no recognition of repeat customers at all...even though she should have access to dining records and perhaps even Open Table previous reservations. I was wanting something outdoorsy, with a view and of course good food. So many of the Scottsdale resorts were so pricey but Alchemy had come up on several searches and didn't seem outrageous on price.
The view was breath-taking, the service was fabulous (thanks to Jean) and the food was unbelievable!!!!

Since we do not live in the area, all of my knowledge came from on line reviews. They were very accurate. Food was great. Service was attentive but not overbearing. The outdoor setting was magnificent. We got to hear music from the wedding going on as an added bonus. We would order it again. We felt it was somewhat overpriced, but ambiance helps compensate. We have been there three times and each time there has been at least one table of eight or more, which made the room very noisy and conversations difficult.
