Alberto's Ristorante was established in 1984 at which time, Northern Italian cuisine and fresh homemade pasta were introduced to Cape Cod for the first time. Since then, we have continued this tradition of all fresh ingredients and in-house preparation of every course from the soups to the desserts.

Our reputation for casual elegance arises from our emphasis on decor, service, the pride we take in food preparation, and our affordability. Over the years, we have received rave reviews from food critics from the Cape Cod Times, The Boston Globe, The Boston Herald, Cape Cod Life Magazine, Fodor's, AAA, and New York Times critic James Beard for "...exquisite Northern Italian cuisine". Our lounge is the perfect setting for a before dinner cocktail, an after dinner espresso, or an even more casual meal. For your listening pleasure, we feature a jazz pianist on Fridays and Saturdays.

Personally, my seafood ravioli was not as tasty as I had hoped. The homemade ravioli was a little undercooked for my taste (maybe that's what al dente is supposed to be -- but I didn't care for it), and the seafood seemed to have a strange taste that made me think it was a previously frozen or mock version of what was stated in the menu. The amount of sauce and the flavor was just right, though. The seafood bisque was delicious, and I would have enjoyed a bowl of it with a salad more than what I selected. It was a special occasion and I was treating two family members, so although they claimed to enjoy their meals, I wasn't convinced -- but I could be wrong about that. I didn't want to embarrass them by pressuring them for more feedback.

We went there for our anniversary celebration(as we do every year). As the manager/owner seated us, I did say we come here every year for our anniversary. He congratulated us. We placed our cocktail order and along with it came 2 glasses of champagne for us. The whole restaurant is so beautiful with its white linen tablecloths, crystal shining, fireplace glowing and beautiful little white lights. You really feel so special there. The waiter was incredible and attentive. The food is absolutely amazing - we have eaten there over a dozen times and I have NEVER EVER had a bad meal - each one has been incredible! While we were deciding on the dessert trio - along came our waiter with a special trio of desserts put together for us!!!

We met friends that we had not seen in a long time so asked for a quiet spot. We do not usually dine in Hyannis as we live 25 minutes away, but agreed with friends to meet half-way. We were accomodated with a lovely table at the window. The service was prompt and courteous and the food was excellent. Each of the 4 of us enjoyed our dinners.

Food was excellent as usual. They accomodated us with the table we wanted with a nice attitude.
One thing that was a little disappointing, on my reservation I noted that it was a birthday but they didn't acknowledge it Maybe they don't see the notes on the open table reservation?
overall very good. Will go back.

The room we were in was very noisy and detracted considerably from our enjoyment of the restaurant. Everything was just ok. Many people clearly like the restaurant, so long may it thrive.

Went out for a speacial date night and we were quite pleased with this restaurant. Food was a little pricey but was presented well. We had the seafood bisque which was outstanding, the stuffed schrod was very good and a sea scallop dish which was slightly undercooked. If you are looking for a nice restaurant I would recommend Alberto's
