  • "We chose to sit outside because it was a beautiful night and the location was perfect for people watching. I had the veal ravioli and my husband had the sea bass special, both very good. For dessert, they brought out a tiramisu and the guitarist sang for my birthday. Dessert was delicious! I would recommend Alberto's when visiting Naples."

  • " We loved Chef Alberto's Northern Italian cuisine when he was on Marco Island and it has not changed. We were on Fifth early and decided to try the Al Fresco dinner which was outstanding in every way. The delicious soup, mussels, and several homemade pasta dishes ,brought to mind dining in Italy. The addition of the delightful Italian singer really enhanced the ambiance and gave us a feeling of being in Italy. As expected, the service was top notch. Alberto's is certainly one of Naples top restaurants."

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our first experience at Alberto's. Didn't take advantage of the Early Bird so our meal was a little pricey, but the food was superb. If you get the ice cream/sorbet for dessert, it is defintely shareable. 4 regular sized scoops of your choice. I had the butternut ravioli and it was wonderful as was the prosciutto appetizer. All in all an excellent evening and we will definitely plan to visit again."

  • "I was surprised that during a slow night with less than 10 tables seated that the service would be so lacking, our waiter was quite pleasant but appeared to only have to Waite on two or three tables and still needed to be waived to in order to take our orders. There are many restaurants with both excellent food and service I would dine at before returning to this restaurant."

  • "To preface this review, My wife has a Sicilian background, so the bar is set high.. First, Fabian has been with Alberto's from the onset, He is the "wine man", his knowledge of Alberto's hand pick "true Italian" wine is immaculate. The QPR (quality to price ratio) of their wines is one of the reasons we frequent Alberto's. We loved the $98 Amarone . The staff we encountered all this week were all from Italy and went out of their way to speak the language to my wife, adding to the romance of this place. Rocco, was a stand out, and had calamari prepared as his mother made for him (off menu) such emotion in their food. Lamb, pasta with crab, and sea bass were stand outs for us. Don't forget to ask Fabian about after dinner ports!"

  • "This was a return visit to Alberto's as we found the menu very much ot our liking with finest ingredients and carefully prepared by the chef-owner. If you like pasta, it is made fresh daily. It has the taste and texture you would expect. My personal favorite is the 7 0z lobster tail perfectly poached and sliced over tortellini filled with fresh corn and herbs. It is sort of a Northern Italian version of a New England Clam Bake featuring corn and lobster. Fabian, sommellier/bar tender, introduced us to an Emilio Moro, a Spanish red made from the Tempranillo grape that we never had before. It was $65 and went very well with my lobster and other entrees. As it is off season, there are early/late dining bargains, too. "

  • "We return again and again as Alberto has the best Northern Italian fare to be had in the region. Doubtless, he would be a success in any city where there are discerning diners. We thought it would not be crowded as we had our pre-concert meal early, but it quickly filled with happy diners, many of whom we observed were regulars. Fabio, senior bar tender and part-time host, made his deliciously unique Mojito and helped our overseas visitors with wine by the glass. Chef Alberto was quick to help us with a combination appetizer as well as a main course pasta sampler. Our guests were very pleased. I had his highly praised poached, sliced lobster tail over corn ravioli, a Northern Italian version of a NE Clam Bake. It was perfect! "

  • "The chef is Italian, and the taste is nothing short of amazing! This is wonderful food, that you take the time to enjoy. We had the 1. scallops and 2. mussels for appetizers. 3 scallops came and were prepared perfectly! The bowl of mussels was delicious as well! We both had different kinds of very mild flavored fish for our entrees and they both tasted great and were well portioned. I think both of our entrees came with 2 ítems on the plate (fish & a side), along with beautiful "extras". Any and all ítems were explained thoroughly by our waiter so we would have a full understanding of what we were ordering - great service! Very intricate and beautiful plates of food served here!"

  • "My wife and I went to Alberto's for the first time last weekend. From the moment we were greeted by Ivan we knew we were in good hands. Our waiter, Ademar, was very attentive and worked with me on my various food allergies to insure my selection addressed the issues. Chef Alberto accommodated my tricky diet and made me perfect tasty white fish that was great . My caprese was wonderful as the burrata was incredible. My wife's appetizer and fish selection was also spot on. Great evening - great food - good ambiance - great staff. A must on our top restaurant list for Naples."

  • "Unlike most Italian restaurants here, there are actually Italians working at Alberto's which is nice to see. The food is always good and the service as well. The Veal Marsala was done with three beautiful tender veal medallions, but sadly the Marsala flavor was missing this time. It was still tasty and had many mushrooms in the sauce. The restaurant gave us a free dessert after we mentioned this and they were very apologetic. We love dining outside and their outdoor area is very pleasant and quieter than inside. We eat out most nights and have been to this restaurant many times and surely will return again."

  • "Some of the reviews were true about the lack of good service. We saw our waiter talking at length with people at the next table, when he should have been attending to our needs and those of others. The manager(or person in charge that evening) came to our table to see that we had been taken care of when he saw that we had no food or drinks. However, later we saw him outside talking to friends (who were walking by) at great length. So, I would say this restaurant needs to have a talk with their staff!!!! The Chilean sea bass was very nicely cooked, but the mushroom sauce overpowered the delicate fish. The snapper was a generous piece, but it too, had a sauce that was too heavy for the delicate fish. Nice ambiance."
