Albany’s Scrimshaw @ The Desmond HotelMy wife and I visited on FridayMy wife and I visited on Friday evening for a special birthday celebration. She ordered a featured trout dish that arrived with wonderful presentation. The trout, however, had a very strong "fishy" odor and taste. So strong, in fact, that she was barely able to swallow the first bite.
The staff was great and removed the dish and offered to replace the item with another selection. However, with my dinner having already been served, the romantic ambiance of the meal was lost and she opted not to reorder! To their credit, the manager removed the charge for her dinner from our bill.
