AlbaI'll Be Back! For some reason I'd not visited Alba in some time. We arrived in time for Happy Hr, which happily extends until 6:30, and it was such a bargain! Very interesting drinks using premium liquors for $5 included the Lemon Spritz ~ limoncello, prosecco and aperol...YUM-O! Also there's an Absolut Mandarin Cosmo I'd like to try. And the "Small Bites" for $4 & $5 were marvelous...roasted brussel sprouts w/pancetta; cheese & salumi plates. And pizza's for $6...my Fungi of forest mushrooms, fontina, carmelized onions & rosemary olive oil was divine! I'll be back soon!6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMA GemWe've dined at Alba a dozen or more times. Each has been a delight. It stumps us why it's never more crowded, since the food is so good, the service so friendly and professional. The space is charming, the bar is beautiful, and the menu very sophisticated and enticing. People who love Italian that goes beyond pasta and red sauce should try this. You'll come back!5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways my favorite!Everything about this restaurant is outstanding. The summer patio is especially romantic. I recommend it to everyone I know.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways a good choiceWe go to Alba several times a year and are never disappointed. The Lasagna is like no other...Open face Kobe beef on pasta. Great service. Not as noisy as other Boulder eating spots.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMBeautiful day to take advantageBeautiful day to take advantage of the patio. The bread salad and the proscuitto wrapped pork were both excellent.5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Food In BoulderHave been to Boulder a lot over the years, since my daughter was at CU. So I've tried a lot of restaurants in Boulder and the last was the best. Alba was a real revelation. Being a bit of a food snob from San Francisco, Boulder was always ok, but never really a food town. Alba has changed my mind about that. The food at Alba would stand up just fine in SF. The pastas were authentic and very well prepared. Our boisterous, post-graduation party of six was treated very well and every dish looked amazing. Well done, Alba!5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful EveningOur niece was in town and looking to have a great evening. We had not been to Alba before and the quality and service exceeded our expectations. Proportions were just right. A small yet high quality wine and drink list was a plus. I really appreciate the reasonable spacing of the tables. You did not feel jammed in and it really added to the ambience while keeping the noise lever reasonable. I highly recommend Alba - it would be great for a romantic evening.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGood for Conversation and Fine FoodAlba is one of our favorite restaurants in Boulder. The food is always dependable and tasty. The wine list features a large number of good, yet reasonably-priced wines that pair up well with the food. The wait staff is excellent, friendly and attentive. We often take visitors here because, unlike many places in Boulder that are very noisy, Alba is quiet enough to carry on a conversation, and you never feel like they are trying to "flip" your table. It's a very relaxed, comfortable place to enjoy a good meal with friends, which we do often. We particularly like to go to Alba in warmer weather because of the patio dining, probably the best in Boulder. Also, happy hour here offers great small plates at reasonable prices.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful EveningThis was a wonderful evening in a very wonderful spot in Boulder. I would recommend highly to anyone.3/5/2013 12:00:00 AM
