A word from Alamar Restaurant Marina
In May of 2013 the New Alamar was purchased by Lino & Linda Catabran. As a floating restaurant we offer seafood & new American cuisine on the Sacramento River. We offer the best river view & coldest beer in town along with full bar & great appetizers. After a month of remodeling & painting we opened the restaurant with a new fresh menu & farm to fork garden. We invite you to experience the new changes, the beautiful river dining view, & great service. Come & enjoy the heirloom tomatoes, basil, zucchini & many other organic vegetables. The new Alamar is actually a rice barge with a roof built on top. Newly remodeled & updated, the bar serves fresh mint for your Mojito or Mint Julep picked from our patio planters. Large covered deck is pet friendly & lets you really enjoy the river atmosphere. Continued

Diner Reviews
  • "The service was attentive and efficient, the dining room pleasant, and the Greek Shrip on a potato pancake is "to die for" and will keep us coming back for more - especially in the warmer months when we can dine outside and enjoy the ambiance of riverside dining."

  • "I initially came to Alamar to rent a boat, but stayed for a surprisingly great meal. The result was a wonderful Valentine Day experience on the river with my wife. She and I loved picnicking on the river on their 25-foot pontoon, privately touring the river for a couple of hours, then heading back for a delightful river-view dinner as the sun set. The prime-rib was excellently prepared and the Greek shrimp dish was perfect. I plan to return soon. :)"
