I'd never heard of Al Biernats but between a good review and a great recommendation from a bartendar at our hotel, we ended up here. We both had their special ribeye whcih was locally grown, grass fed organic etc and it was hands down the best steak i've ever had. The seasoning they use is perfect as it enhances the flavor of the meat without covering it up. Also, our service was flawless and like everywhere else we went in Dallas, everyone was super friendly.

Today was Caesar salad (it's large, splitting one is good at lunch) and the absolutely luscious pot roast (favourite Sunday fare from when it was homemade), healthy succulent offering of an American staple. I had the 14oz filet cooked medium rare and it melted in my mouth. My father had the surf n turf, 3oz lobster tail with 8oz filet, and he loved it. I sampled the lobster tail with butter sauce and regreted not getting a tail myself. Our entire party of 7 had a very memorable time. All the staff made sure to congratulate my parents on their very special occasion. The night ended with us sharing the coconut cream pie. It lived up to the hype that a coworker of mine had given it. The food was excellent and the service was attentive yet not overly intrusive. We have been to this restaurant twice and our only complaint had been the noise level. At times it can be difficult to carry on a conversation across the table. So if you're looking for a quiet, romantic date spot this probably isn't the place for you but if you want a great place to celebrate a special occasion give it a try.4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMLived up to its reputation!Al Biernats is now one of my favorite steakhouses! We arrived about 5 minutes late for an 8:00 reservation and were seated immediately. Our server, Rock, certainly had a hand in turning a good experience into a great one. Though profressional, he was very friendly and full of suggestions. He even reccomended half-portions of certain items, which I appreciated. The bone-in, wagyu ribeye was amazing: so were the crm spinach and the mac-n-cheese.
The wine list was priced better than similar steakhouses. I liked that the sommelier himself came to tell us they were out of our first choice in wine. He suggested a wine that was priced 15% lower than the first bottle and it was fantastic!
I will definitely be back!4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Steaks in DallasThis restaurant may not have wine list like Pappa Bros, Three Forks and others but their Prime Steaks are supreme. You will not find any better in Dallas. I love the restaurant and service, very friendly and attentive staff. I gave 3 stars to service as our waitress this time could have been a little more attentive, we had to ask another Server and Server's Assistant for some items. The corn/crab chowder is amazing, best wedge salad I have ever had and the steaks melt in your mouth. Good here, I promise as a Foodie, you will not be disappointed. The brunch menu can be pricey, but it is definately worth it! Although there is not a kid menu the waiter kindly said they could make spaghetti and chicken fingers which pleased the younger kids. Wonderful starters (baked goat cheese with portabella), salads and desserts (Grand Marnier creme brulee).
Again, the service was superb. They were extremely busy, crowded and noisy. However, the waiter Jesse and Al Biernat himself, did a fine job providing personal attention to our party and were very accommodating to our needs. Al was very visible and took time to stop by our table and personally tried to assist a unique drink request - they made it happen!
The food was excellent. Everyone in our party of 5 said their meal was very tasty and well prepared.
