  • Captive Audience, High Prices!

ACC (MLSE) take full advantage of having captive audiences for events in the almost obscene prices they charge like $12 for a beer. If the food was exceptional perhaps one could justify it on occasion, but it is not, just average. Unless on a corporate account, avoid it!

Wont be going back to ACC. The service was VERY slow !!! over an hour to get our food. finally the manager went to the kitchen and brougt our food to our table. Wont be going back there. For the $ charged the portions were very small. Warm water and extra charge for a pop refill.

We were not terribly pleased with the table we were sat at. It was incredibly close to the people dining next to us and therefore offered NO privacy. when the people next to us were being sat they requested a table behind us and were told it was reserved. It remained empty all evening. When a patron with an infant starting interfering with enjoying the show the manager was quick to deal with the situationa when he was made aware of it. I don't think this kind of venue is condusive to MINORS. Therefore, get a babysitter!! Like the rest of us did!!

My wife made a reservation for dinner bofore the Bruno Mars concert on Sat. The service was great but the food was over price $$$. However to have the option of watching the conert from your table or go down to your seats was great. We returned on Monday with friends for the Queen concert and watched it from the resturant. Would do it again not any time soon. I was a good experience.

Our recent dining experience was "amazing" thanks to the incredible manager and the great staff at the Air Canada Club! They were very accomodating and went out of their way to ensure that our Anniversary pre-concert dinner was really special. I especially enjoyed the Wedge Salad with the house prepared Cucumber Vinaigrette as well as the Chicken Parmesan which was outstanding. The two-handed Chili Cheese Burger was melt-in-your mouth delicious - Bruno Mars would approve!

We looked on Open Table for a place to eat before the Michael Buble concert. Decided to give ACC a try to avoid stress of getting to the show on time! It was way above expectations. Jeff served us and didn't miss any details. We shared a dragon roll and relish asparagus dish to start. He asked about my request for Gluten free and then for our mains we shared halibut and a chill cheese burger. Jeff arranged to have the dishes split in the kitchen and my half burger arrived sans bun! All tasted amazing plus the sommelier recommended a bottle of French Pinot Gris to compliment our meal. We watched the opening act from the restaurant and then went to our seats for the main act. Overall an excelled experience.

The food is consider fair for the price we paid. Especially for a bone in sirlon steak that we ask for medium rare and the steak portion is close to well done! This is not what we expect to pay $78 for this entree! The portion of food is average and the taste is so-so.

The food was very good, though expensive. The service was not great. Our table for 2 was right against a pillar and the servers seemed to forget we were there even though the restaurant was not that busy. And placing a tiny table for 2 against a pillar is not a good idea. The seating was very tight and people could barely walk by our table and the rail seats.

Good view from the south end of the arena, given today's big screen technology. A great alternative to being stuck in the same seat all night in the arena, as you can stroll around the restaurant and visit the bar. The food is excellent, although pricey, and gives added ambience and convenience to enjoying a concert. Our server was excellent.

Our server was very friendly and told us about the specials. We ordered off the menu and decided to split a garden salad, when it arrived is was on two plates, which was convenient. The salad however was not as nice as I was expecting. I enjoyed the ceaser salad last time and wished I had ordered it again this time. I ordered the ribs, they were very tasty, the meat fell off the bones. For dessert we shared sorbet, it was amazing. I would highly recommend the sorbet to anyone. The service was fast, friendly and personal. I felt very well looked after. The food was great and we were told we could watch the opening act from the restaurant.

If you enjoy spending a bit of money, you will definitely enjoy the food at this restaurant. Do yourself a favour though and SELECT your table carefully and hopefully in advance. Many of the tables are 1-2 inches from each other. As a two-some, you are seated beside two other strangers - which could be great or problematic. Also - if you intend on staying in the restaurant for the game, again seat selection is paramount. Some tables cannot see anything without standing on your chair - which makes eating a bit difficult.

Ironically my seats ten rows from the ice were warmer than the AC Club. It was very cold in there. The staff were wearing jackets. But there is much more. Tables are jammed together so you feel like you are dining with a dozen strangers. Noise level is very high and forces everyone to shout. Hence, you are hearing every word of neighbours conversations. Sent back the cannelloni, sauce was terrible, and couldn't tell what the meat was. thought maybe pulled pork, turned out to be braised beef rib. Server was indifferent about this and pointed out that someone else said they loved it. The one positive is that given the tight timelines, they can get you in and out in time for the game.

I had booked the restaurant for a Raptor pre game lunch but when we arrived they had created a brunch buffet instead. It's the MLSE, what more can be said.... great food, attentive and pleasant service, extremely expensive for what you get..... frequenting many notable restaurants with clients, I am always amazed that I spend 25-30% more than some of the finest dining in the city. I guess that is what you pay for a captive market with extreme convenience that comes with entertainment (most of the time) if you are running late and unable to get dinner before the game. Atmosphere is great. It's expensive to be a Leafs Fan!

Went to ACC club Saturday night before seeing Sting / Paul Simon concert (excellent show btw). They offered a fairly small fixed menu. Food was great! Caesar salad app was enough to share. We both ate chili cheeseburgers and both really enjoyed them. The hand cut super greasy potato chips were really tasty. It's a pricey spot but we expected to pay a premium to dine at the ACC on an event night. Would definitely recommend!

Great place to go to before a concert at the ACC. Given the amount of people/ action in short space of time - the small menu works very well - it's not over ambitious and delivers. It was valentine and Justin Timberlake. The young lady seated us and then we were completely ignored. We only had time to order appetizers after I finally tracked down a waitress. We asked for dressing on the side and it came overloaded with it. The crab dip had 5 small crackers and the calamari was drenched with butter. Not a great night for my girlfriend and I on such special day. I will be hard pressed to return to this restaurant. I felt terrible because all i left was a 15% tip on a $100 bill.

We love having dinner at the ACC MLSE before a concert! It reduces a lot of stress being able to dine directly inside the ACC so we don't have to worry about grabbing dinner elsewhere - the food is good, prices reasonable and the ambience is fantastic! Also, if you end up deciding watching the concert from your table that is also an option.
