Diner Reviews
  • "Most of the menu is made up of hamburgers, which would be great if the hamburgers were better."

  • "I came here with my sister on a Saturday night. Neither of us wanted to do anything crazy, but just hang out at the bar and have a yummy dinner. The pulled pork sandwich is delicious and the bar area was packed, but in a good way, not in a way that it is impossible to get a drink. Overall, good environment, food, and service. Recommended."

  • "Loud! It's a loud bar more than a restaurant. Also the waitress asked if I wanted fries, truffle fries or salad with my sandwich. I had the truffle fries and they cost $9.00 extra."

  • "We went for a midweek dinner and were surprised how poorly laid out the floorplan was and amateurish the restaurant seemed to be managed. From lining tables down unnecessarily cramped aisles to requiring a credit card before allowing diners to order food, the experience was not one we'll repeat. It may be worth overcoming inhospitality for excellent food, but not for the mediocre. In a city with so many exceptional options, it's hard to see why one would opt for Ainsworth Park."

  • "So, I went here with a Livingsocial deal with my boyfriend for dinner. It is a weird combination of fine dining restaurant and sports bar. The interior is lovely, but it doesn't seem to know what it wants to be. We went on a Sunday night and the place was empty. We got a great table on the patio by the street. Our server was great. I had the oyster sliders (yummy, and not too greasy!). My boyfriend go the waygu beef burger, which comes with fries. He said it was perfect with the carmelized onions and smothered in gruyere. The fries (huge portion!) were crispy and perfect. We also split the tuna tartare app and the beet and goat cheese salad. Both were fresh and well balanced! Overall, I recommend it for a quiet Sunday dinner."

  • "The restaurant looked great however that was the best part. We started with the shrimp cocktail. After the first bite, I was done. The shrimp were either very old, freezer damaged or just plain not cooked properly. Maybe all of the above. The sauce did nothing to to help. The steak sandwich was completely overwhelmed by Gruyere cheese. No taste of steak. The side of roasted cauliflower was another disappointment. First of all, I don't believe that cauliflower saw the inside of an oven. Roasted?.....NO! Secondly it wasn't fresh cauliflower to start with. It was rubbery with so much red pepper on it to make it inedible. Nowhere on the menu did it say it was spicy. Just awful! The best part were the french fries. We left the rest. hungry."
