  • "Lots of great wine! Good timing between each course, no long waits no rushing. Bread with warm olive oil was offered before appetizers, it was delicious. Appetizers were great too. We were disappointed with the main course. My steak was undercooked for my tastes leaning toward medium rare but my wife likes hers that way so she got an extra treat as she got the more raw part. We both felt that my wife's pasta dish needed just a little more cooking time. Even though it was handmade pasta we felt there is a difference between al-dente with a slight resistance in the center and the dish we were served which was harder throughout. She got a new serving which was much better. For dessert we had the mousse, great taste, needed to be chilled more."

  • "Went with a friend for summer RW. Got there at 7; ordered off the RW menu around 7:15. They were out of salmon so I ordered steak, after asking whether that was the entree ordered by the table next to it. I ordered the duck confit ravioli app; two very slim raviolis in a tiny puddle of sauce. When the main course arrived, I received the wrong entree, which was replaced with the correct dish, but half the size of those received by the next table. The highlight of the meal was the dessert, which was substituted from the main menu after the dessert I ordered at 7:15 (and really wanted) was gone. This was the only portion size that wasn't tiny. When I got home I ate again because I was hungry. BTW I am female and of normal weight."

  • "Made a last minute reservation and was glad I did. Even though I traveled alone, it was perfect for me. Wine was great and the server was very personable and accommodating. Even Mary the owner stopped by my table to ask how things went. Lived the personal touch. Very very fresh farm to table food! Awesome experience! I will be returning."

  • "(The wine list was ok but I had to check something) A friend rec. restaurant so when I saw the living social coupon I decided to try it. To start, "happy hour" with half price wine was only at the bar (which had minimal seating) and not outside at the table. Waitress was nice but not very attentive (We had to go find her to get water, check, etc.) and food slow in coming. (This was a Thursday and the restaurant was not real busy.) Food was ok but nothing special (Eggplant Parmesan was served with a watery tomato sauce-- which may have come from the vegetables it was served with.). Basically, overpriced for quality/quantity of food and service. I likely would not go back, even with a coupon."

  • "Went here for my birthday - put that note in Open Table. No one mentioned my birthday at all. Rockfish entree was good as was eggplant parmesan, but salmon with "sauce" was tasteless and mascarpone ravioli was bland and free range chicken was very dry but sauce was flavorful. Three cheese flatbread was good. Second time going here but it will be our last time. Environment is blah and food overall is blah. Service not great - no one was there and I had to ask for my wine to be served. Very disappointing and was for a special birthday celebration. Pricey for the size of the entrees and the quality. Too bad - was hoping for more - had not gone here for a year but didn't like it a year ago and no improvement. Do not recommend at all."

  • "My friend and I chose to have lunch here for my birthday. The service was excellent. We enjoyed our meal. Although the restaurant was quiet when we arrived, it soon filled with an energetic lunch crowd. I appreciated the fact that even though most tables were filled we were not rushed at all. This was pleasant because I had time to open my gifts and have a nice talk with my friend."

  • "We had a fine meal at Aida's the other night. But there were just a few small glitches that made it a less special occasion than at other visits. Like my 1/2 dozen oysters were 5 oysters. A really classy place would have brought out 2 more once this was pointed out, but they simply replaced the missing one. They asked about coffee or cappuccino, but sped away before we could ask for tea and desert menu. And the noise level was very high. I know you can't do anything about noisy groups, but it was a much nicer environment last time. Maybe because we were in a smaller room then. So - last visit was A+ this time was A- Still very good, but ....."

  • "My party of 4 dined at Aida on a very busy Monday evening. While there is no more prix fixe menu, the chef now offers small plates. We tried the goat cheese salad, flash fried shrimp, smoked salmon flatbread, and the 2 soup offerings and all were excellent. Two in my group ordered the spicy stuffed ravioli and enjoyed it immensely. Another tried the seafood linguine and I had the seared bronzini. Again, the entrees were excellent and cooked and seasoned to perfection. While the food hit a home run, we weren't happy with our table which sat in the entrance of the dining room and next to a large, incredibly noisy group. We should have asked to move as there were other four-tops available. Service was okay but not up to par due to the crowds."

  • "This was our first trip to the new location. While the decor is nice, it is not that much improvement over the old shopping center location. The waiter went through the introductions, said he would give us time to look at the menu, and gave us plenty of time....and much more...before returning. The appetizer flatbread was enjoyed by all but the individual entrees did not perform well. My veal (the special) was dry and the goat cheese stuffing was not to be found. All in all, not the occasion it used to be."

Salmon was done perfectly served with orzo and crisp veggies, the homemade pasta is not to be missed with its scrumptious sauce. While Aida may not have a scenic site, the staff, including the bus persons, are friendly and helpful. Overall, we can't wait to go back."

We had requested something in a corner where we would be able to converse at normal levels, and even when the dining room got more crowded we were able to enjoy each others' company without shouting.   • "This place is a stone's throw from my office but I hadn't eaten there so I went with a friend this past week. The place is very nice inside. Not too large, not too small and set up so that you can have a quiet conversation. My friend is gluten-free and she loved her pasta dish as well as the banana/chocolate dessert. I had the goat cheese salad, which was small but very good. Service was very good. All in all it was a good meal but very pricey. My friend got a pasta dish, which was $15 and added chicken to it, which increased the price by $6 to $21 for a small pasta dish for lunch. My small salad was $11. The waiter suggested I add a quinoa burger to the salad but that would have added $8 to the price and I didn't want a $19 salad."

  • "We celebrated my wife's birthday at Aida's. She was disappointed that they had just run out of the dinner special that evening, but we found good meals on the menu. The waitress was great and even brought my wife a dessert on the house. The food was quite good overall. Certainly better than typical "chain" Italian restaurants, which we try to avoid."

  • "This was our first time dining in Aida's new location. Aida is now in a stand alone building and the decor is lovely. We were there on a Thursday evening. The wine bar was crowded - the restaurant was not (it was a lot quieter). The food was excellent, but we would have preferred some lighter sauce options. Their bread is served with plain olive oil - no herbs. Wine is available in four sizes which is very convenient. More restaurants should offer those options. "

The food for happy hour and the main menu has never disappointed. In fact, I was very surprised how good each item I tried. Great food and wine!   • "Used to go a lot when first opened. The last two times I've been disappointed and don't plan to go back. Two times ago was dinner with two other couples who had never been and nobody was impressed. This last time was lunch and my friend and I had both had bad experiences the time before and we're unhappy with our lunch and we both agreed we're done."

  • "We went to AIDA for our 15th Anniversary Dinner and it was a perfect experience from start to finish. We had excellent service from Meredith, who made sure to give us wine recommendations, and the food was wonderful as always. The salmon entrée with the encrusted walnuts and dill crème fraiche was the best I've ever had. The desserts that came out on a plate with "Best Wishes" was a really nice touch. We'll be back again!"

  • "My mother and I enjoyed the special Mother's Day lunch that was several courses. The food was wonderful! The only thing I was disappointed in was the wine on tap. We both prefer sweet wines, but for some reason, there were only dry options on tap, so we missed out on that experience. The sangria was a delicious replacement though!"

That said, the server of the meals was fine and the food was very good. However that type of attitude can ruin the whole experience."
