Limited menu and very pricey. Left feeling hungry as teaspoon of Gelato did not fill my sweet tooth. Clientele seemed to lean more toward the business crowd.

Service was exceptional, our server knew every nuance of the menu selections. All six of us raved about the service and the food. The portions are similar to a classic French restaurant. Recommend the $94 price fix menu, you will need all four courses to be sated. We were a little disappointed in the deserts.

Pre fixe here is a good price to enjoy several dishes with a good portion. We don't want to miss the appetizer and pasta which are better than some main dishes. I was disappointed the bouillabaisse. The broth was very salty to begin with and the rouille even add more salty taste.

The appetizers were the stars - even the classics were superb. My husband's foie gras Torchon looked amazing and the Vellutata lobster bisque was a perfect balance of lobster and creamy. The pasta dishes were perfect - and filling! The apple with cinnamon ice cream and caramel was a delicious taste of fall. The staff were so helpful and nice - and kept the atmosphere convivial, not stiff. It's not a cheap night out, but not out of the question, either.

  • Did not meet my expectations

I invited my sister and daughter for their birthdays for lunch. The time was still for brunch and we chose to order entrees instead of the combination with the buffet. We ordered the ravioli with the egg yolk which sounded delicious. Although it did taste good it was a small portion and nothing was provided with the meal except for the drinks we had ordered. We were hungry and requested another entree but it was to late since the kitchen had closed. The waiter was kind enough to provide us with a plate of charcuterie leftover from the buffet table with accompanying bread. We felt like we had a sufficient lunch after that. This is an expensive restaurant which does not provide what I would call generous portions.

Went with a group of four to Ai Fiori on a Saturday evening. I had the bass tartare and salad to start; the bass was excellent, but the salad was poor. Next, I had the pork shoulder ravioli; it was mediocre and I would not order it again. I had the lamb saddle as my main course. The lamb was excellent, but it was served on coco beans that really hurt the dish. Also the artichokes served with the lamb were overcooked. My raspberry mousse dessert was ok , but nothing special. Overall, dinner was good but not worth $600. Had our group spent $2000 - $5000 on dinner and drinks, dinner may have been a bit better, but I don't really think worth the increase price.

Nicely decorated restaurant and wonderful staff. I thought that Ai Fiori was an Italian restaurant but the only thing I found Italian about it were the names of the food. The food was good and the wine, Brunello di Montalcino, was one of the finest bottles we've ever had. I do not think it is a Michelin 1 star restaurant but it is good.

I am a big fan of Ai Fiori. The food is exquisite, the dining room spacious, the service spot-on. Brunch is more about quality than quantity; there are no heaping piles of shellfish, no omelet station, no chocolate fountain. While the buffet line is small-ish, everything is delicious. I also had the egg ravioli for an entree (made to order), and it was perfectly-cooked and amazing. You have the option of having just the buffet, ordering a la carte, or both. I'm guessing the hefty price tag for both ($64 without cocktails) may be keeping people away. Most tables were empty. I hesitate to use the word "classy," because things described as such are often the exact opposite, but brunch at Ai Fiori is definitely a classy affair.

They obliged with a quiet table, in spite of the fact that the area was not open, and the food was delicious. When we asked why our order was taking longer than expected, (about 15 minutes) they refilled our wine glasses. Good value for what you pay. Will return.

Went to dinner with last minute reservation. The restaurant is very large but well laid out so that the sound quality is good. My partner and I each had one glass of wine, shared an appetizer, each had the lobster and each had dessert and coffee. The bill was over $200. Our main dish, lobster in brown butter, looked positively tiny; perhaps it was the very large plate it was served on? The food was good, the ambiance was nice, the service was good. So, try it! But expect to pay at least $200 for dinner for 2, a lot more if you have more than one drink and don't share an appetizer.

I have come to Ai Fiori regularly for the past year. I love the ambience and the service. The food has consistently been exceptional. This lady visit, I have to say the food was not what I have come to expect from my previous dining experiences. This will in no way discourage me from reserving my next dinner here. Everyone has an off night and it took a year for a slightly off night to occur. I will definitely return very soon.

Our first visit to Ai Fiori will NOT be our last! Here's a rave review on all fronts: food was outrageously delicious in all respects (presentation, preparation, creativity, taste!), service matched the food (gracious, timely, knowledgeable), great wine list and a solid sommelier, atmosphere was just what we wanted (quiet, comfortable, elegant but not stuffy). Highly recommend Ai Fiori and particularly suggest trying the: Torchon (foie gras), Agnolotti (veal), and Ippoglosso (halibut). Ai Fiori is expensive but a great value. Far and away the best meal we had during our 5-days visiting a variety restaurants around the city.
