A word from Agora Churrascaria
Agora Churrascaria is a Brazilian Steak House in the "Rodizio" style, where waiters, dressed as Gauchos (local ranchers from the South), move from table to table carrying skewers of meat, from which they slice portions for their guests. Agora serves 12 different cuts of meat, including beef, pork, lamb and chicken. The restaurant prepares each cut as it has been for centuries: seasoned with rock salt to accent the individual tastes of each cut, and slow-roasted over an open flame. Upon being seated, every guest is given a green and red-sided circular chip to control their fixed price, continuous tableside service. The green side signals the Gaucho to "bring it on," while the red side stops the service. For additional servings, guests simply flip the indicator back to the green side. In addition to the succulent meat selections, Agora offers an outstanding hot and cold salad bar, comprised of Brazilian and seafood specialties as well as a variety of tempting side dishes.Continued

  • "My husband and son treated me to a birthday dinner at your restaurant.... Only issue is that the restaurant never even acknowledged it was my bthday. The reservation was placed on line where it asked if we were celebrating anything special. My bthday was on July 4th:("

  • "I have been to Agora several times and it has been consistently good. If you are at any point craving meat- this is great option. For the price, I think it is a better value than some of the upscale steak houses. Great place to a big group."

  • "Tuesday nights dinner at Agora was great. The smoked salmon at the bar was really fishy but other than that, the good was perfect. The only negative thing I have to say was where they sat us. We had reservations at 6:30 and when we arrived, it was 1/4 full. They sat us in the front and had to deal with everyone walking by our table the whole night. There was plenty of tables in the middle. Kind of ruined a anneversiary dinner. That is minor and does not take away from the great food."

  • "I found the restaurant to be very good on all categories. The staff was attentive, but not over attentive, the food was very good, and there was a great variety to select. The restaurant was very clean, and the ambience very nice. Although salmon was offered, there was no other fish offered."

  • "The steaks, and the lamb chop were great (we did eat anything with bacon or pork). The salad bar was excellent. The Argentine wine was perfect for our dinner."

  • "We were treated on Father's Day to this beautiful and outstanding all-you-can-eat Brazilian BBQ restaurant. The restaurant itself is a pleasure to view with high beam ceilings and massive river rock walls. The ambiance is that of a top restaurant in a 5 star hotel. After perusing the colorful salad and seafood bar which looks into the kitchen through a glass wall, you are seated and treated to the unending parade of fine cuts of BBQ meats, flank, skirt, top sirloin, roasts, beef, pork and chicken plus sausages, some wrapped with bacon, others like lamb rack enhanced with French herbs and Dijon mustard. Excellent service, highly recommended."

  • "If you're looking for great meat, and a great variety of it, you won't be disappointed. It's cooked perfectly, and it's so good that you find yourself eating it by itself, without any of the side dishes from the buffet/salad bar. The latter is good, but not great. The table service is good and friendly, but the hostess has a bit of an attitude. The wine list features only California wines and as such, is totally overpriced. With wine and tip, the bill came to $75/person."

  • "All I can say is amazing! This was our first visit and I plan to return. While the price does keep this from being an all the time place for my family, it is now the top of the list for special dinner spots! The food was excellent and ALL of the staff was friendly and fun to talk to."

  • "In general, all meat we tasted was not tender as we expected. It seemed that meat quality was not so good but they marinated meat to make it tender. Some parts are overlooked and dry. Salad bar and buffet choice was not so good either. Ambiance of restaurant is good, but it's not worth for what they charge. This was my 3rd time here and I was never impressed much, but boys seemed like it because they could eat as much as meat they wanted."

  • "The food and service were excellent. We were celebrating my son's graduation and we had a wonderful time and felt well cared for. The atmosphere was relaxing and we were able to sample all the wonderful types of meat. The servers came back often enough that we were able to have seconds (and thirds) of our favorites. And our waitress checked with us to see if there were any we wanted to come back again. Water glasses were filled constantly, without being disruptive. Clean plates were brought when they were needed. I never felt rushed to leave (and there were people waiting for tables)."

  • "Para ser uma churrascaria brasileira falta muita coisa. Pouca variedade de carnes no almoço."

  • "Agora had wonderful skirt steak and sausages, but some of the bacon wrapped filet and bacon wrapped chicken seemed over cooked and a bit dry. The skirt steak was by far the best and we wished it had come by again, but it only came as the first offering."

  • "I loved the people and the service. The manager suggested an amazing Brazilian beer and said if I did not like it, I could send it back. The salad/cheese/sides bar was great as usual. The meat however, was very dry and not too flavorful. I also received meat that was far too raw. The servers even came back and saw I had not eaten it, and apologized for the almost completely raw cut. Pretty disappointed since I have come to expect a certain level of meat quality from Agora."

  • "I find how their rules of making a reservation for more than 10 by signing a contract and charging $10 extra per person so that everyone can sit together is totally ridiculous!! We had a party of 16 (11 adults, 1 13-yrs old, 2 7&8 yrs old, and 2 4&5 yrs old) and our bill including a requested of 20% gratuity came out to being nearly $1000!! While the food isn't too bad, but it is NOT worth it for 11 adults to be paying $90/person or if we were to count all of the kids, it would be $62.5 per person. How much can a 4 to 5 year old eat to be paying $62.50 per child? Even an adult for $62.50 for Brazilian steakhouse is a rip off in my opinion. I would NEVER visit here again nor refer anyone because I believe it is a ripoff!! "

  • "The food is undeniably incredible! It is top notch when the men come out with their swords presenting the meat. However we made reservations and my only request was a high chair for my 1 year old. When we got to the restaurant we were informed that one party had taken all the high chairs. I was very unhappy about having to hold my son through this dinner and had to suggest to the hostess maybe the one table doesn't need ALL their chairs. Eventually we got it worked out, but it was very annoying and I'm going to go ahead and assume, this isn't a "kid friendly" restaurant."

  • "The Brazilian steakhouse dining is an experience to be had by all beef lovers. The variety of beef will satisfy all, and if beef isn't your choice of protein, they also serve chicken and salmon table side. Not to mention other varieties of fish at the quality buffet offering side dishes to please every taste bud. The gauchos are pleasant and can be a source of entertainment. Overall great food!!!"

  • "The bill for 2 people with tip is around $120. A nice salad bar followed by a few small cuts of uncooked beef is not what I consider fine dining. For a restaurant centered around preparing meats this was a serious disappointment. With a price point so high you would also think this place would be the kind of place for a nice evening out, be warned, Agora is equivalent to an adult Chuck-E-Cheese. The drive home was my wife and I regretfully discussing what food we should have spent that money on. "

  • "Been here several times because some members of my family like it, but since I'm the one who pays, I have a different perspective. I'm not cheap, have money, and don't mind spending it as long as what I'm getting in return is worth it. Agora's food is not bad. It's not spectacular either. Sometimes the meat is a little tough, sometimes it's dry and over cooked. All in all, it's really not bad. But it certainly is not worth $46 per person. If you want meat, take that money, and maybe a little more, to Morton's, Maestro's, Fleming's or Ruth's Chris and enjoy yourself. If you want to stuff yourself on mediocrity or you want the unique Brazilian steak house experience, well then visit Agora...ONCE. "

  • "It was our first time experiencing a Brazilian restaurant like this. We enjoyed choosing which cuts of meat we wanted. We were disappointed that the rib were brought after we paid (even though we had asked for them several times). "

  • "I was ashamed to have taken my family to this restaurant. The hot buffet was one of the least sanitary I'd ever seen. The salad bar was unlabeled, and in hindsight I'm so glad I didn't "experiment" with its content (I only ate an imitation Caesar Salad - guessing on the dressing since it was also unlabeled). The meat, which I expected to be the highlight, was just one disappointment after another. All the meats tasted like aluminum. Despite the neat card system (flip green for more meat, red to pause), once we flipped to red it took 15 minutes before they saw that we flipped back to green. I could have spent one fourth of the money on twice the quality. I couldn't stop apologizing to my family the whole way home..."

  • "To our surprise, Agora was not as busy as expected on Easter Sunday. However, one would think there would be more attention given to those that were dining. On this particular visit, the service was lacking. Several times, we had to call for the waiter to direct the gauchos our way and they're weren't as frequently visible as usual."

  • "This restaurant has a romantic and cabin atmosphere to it due to the decor. The staff was excellent. As I opened the door at the entrance, I was greeted by the hostesses and asked if I had a reservation. I was seated very quickly right after which I loved. Our server was nice, but I wish she came around more often to check on us since we wanted some things. The meat servers were awesome! All of the servers that came to our table had vibrant personalities. It made my night with all the jokes they cracked! The meats were a hit or miss. Some were really tender and juicy while others were rough. The food bar filled with side dishes were alright, compared to other Brazilian BQQ places I've been to. I did love the choice of oysters here! "

  • "My husband and I went for lunch. Making reservations thru open table was really easy. The food was amazing, the buffet choices were great, shrimp, salmon, salad, etc... And of course the huge variety of meats and the attentiveness of the servers wa fabulous. "

  • "The food was incredible! Bring your appetite!! The salad bar alone could be several meals. The meats were spectacular! The service was high quality. The room temperature was a bit warm the first 40 or so minutes we were there but then it cooled down and was more comfortable. "

  • "I went on Easter Sunday and made my reservation at 6:45. I was kind of upset that they were doing last calls for meat at 7:45pm and that they were closing early that day at 8pm, originally they close 10pm. I felt I didn't really get the full experience with all the different meats, maybe 5 the most and this place isn't that cheap so I kind of wanted to get the full experience out of it. I will say that the meats I was able to try were really seasoned well. Towards the end my boyfriend and I were a little disappointed at how bloody the meat was coming out. The staff was very friendly and the service was overall good. "

  • "Agora is adequate if you have a craving for lots of meat. However, it is no Fogo De Chau. After my visit, I would rather drive up to Beverly Hills where I know I'll get 5 star quality and service. Our server was great but the food was slow to come out and the quality was slightly above average. "

  • "Expensive. Food was great but doesn't have a lot of variety and selection especially for $46 per person. Some of the meat didn't arrive on out table. They keep passing us."

  • "My husband and I love Agora Churrascaria and try to dine there as much as possible! We were thrilled to have the opportunity to take our son and daughter-in-law there for Easter Sunday lunch! The waiter immediately brought out our yummy complimentary mimosas which made the day a little brighter. As usual, the food was outstanding, the salad bar superb and the atmosphere was beautiful! Always love the high-quality meats they serve and never have any complaints about their service or food! Thank you for a wonderful Easter meal!"

  • "It is not Morton or Ruth Chris. Do not expect to steak to be cook just right. However, it is pretty good if you like meat. There are all kind of meat so you do not have to settle down to just one kind of meat. The service is friendly and great. Could not be better. "
