Authentic Turkish cuisine done extremely well. Tapas-sized dishes that allow diners to sample a variety of this beautiful food. The manti ravioli, chopped Turkish salad and Turbot fish were outstanding. I visited 2xs during one business trip to D.C. Great wine list and sommelier.

Our table of four ordered the all-you-can-eat-and-drink brunch. We sat at the high table by the window. The distant view was nice but the window was also right next to a rather disorganized dish station so I docked the place for ambience. Overall, the service was excellent. We had mutliple servers that kept on clearing our table of the dishes (and there were plenty of them because the meal was tapas style) and refilling our champagne/mimosas without us asking. However, one gripe about the service is that when the server brought out bacon that we did not order, he was very reluctant to take it back and told us to just take it because it was on the house--which made no sense at all.

The food was very good. The octopus salad and the bread stuffed with Turkish sausage were particulary good. The major drawback is that the tables are very close to each other so you are subjected to everyone's conversation around you. It definitiely detracts from the experience. It also makes it a little ackward exiting the banquet.

Food was terrific and interesting. Service was excellent. Wine selection very nice. Enjoyed the experience. We had dinner upstairs which was nice as we were with friends and wanted to talk. The downstairs scene was a younger, louder crowd. They could use some wallhangings or something on the walls upstairs to tamp down the noise level some to make conversation easier. Overall it was great.
