We had our group lunch there friday afternoon. We had originally booked for 13 but ended up with 8,they were very accomodating with changing the seating arrangement. Our server had two trainees tagging along and when we dealt with them there were some issues(taking orders on beer that wasnt available). The food was served in a reasonable amount of time and there were few complaints. My Angus burger could have been a little hotter but was tasty regardless. The main complaint was after our table was cleared, and we were enjoying our last beers, servers kept showing up at our table with food going to other tables. This happened 3 separate times. We mentioned this to our server when the bill came and his reply was "ive told them once already".

Never had such a poor service experience in Toronto. Had a reservation and were seated. The place was busy and bustling, but we could see the service staff running around like crazy and obviously were not prepared for this, being a new restaurant. We sat for 15 minutes with no one coming by, not even water. We went to the cashier station and asked to be served. We waited another 14 minutes...no service, no water, nothing for 29 minutes???...you go to a restaurant because you want food right?? Other tables beside us seemed to have the same experience....never going back...wouldn't be surprised if this place tanks, because poor service (or no service!) doesn't survive in this city.

food was not as good as it looked on the menu description. also would have used a spoon in cutlery. out of several things includng some beers. waitress did not seem to know some things. hard to find waitress a lot of the time. got a nice table with a good view. would have liked to know that restaurant provides free parking - that would reduce the cost significantly.

The place has only been open for a month so I understand that there are growing pains but this was just plain ridiculous. We sat down and it took our waitress 15 minutes to take our drink order and then 5 minutes later another waiter came to take our drink order, so we cottoned on to the fact we should order our food from him due to the time lags. We did the same when our drink order arrived, ordering our next round and sure enough it arrived just as we finished our first batch. The people beside us even made the comment that the service was off.

I had one of the worst experiences EVER. I had made the reservation on line for 15ppl for my husbands 40th birthday and called to confirm that I wanted to be seated outside. I was informed that they would do their best to get us outside. I called 15 min before arrival so they could start getting out table ready. We waited over an hour to get our table, the server refused to split the bills, 4 of our friends had their meal 1 hour before the rest of the table and my dish was another 15 min past that. 75% of the table didn’t even finish their food as it was horrible. We were not offered dessert menus or coffee/tea. The waiter let us sit there for 45min without a bill or any acknowledgment. It was terrible, I and my party will NEVER return.

Very nice patio with a view of the harbour, plus all the condo dwellers walking their dogs along the quay. Service was spotty....too attentive at first and then as the place filled up, very long waits. We never did get our second cup of coffee. The feeling was hurry up and order, eat, and then get out so we can pack in more people. Food was just okay....nothing special. It has the feel of a place that considers itself very trendy, and it certainly is a hot spot at the moment. The restaurant was packed by 7 p.m. The big attraction here is the outdoor patio and the view. My advice would be go for a drink and snack in the afternoon to enjoy the sun and the view, and then go somewhere else for dinner.

Went on a Monday night, six of us at 7:30pm. It was after 9:00 when our food arrived! When we complained (twice) they said they were backed up. Indicates poor management. Food was completely unremarkable, but service was first class. I would never go back except for drinks only.

Overall a great Experience. The Service was slow and I had no idea who our server was. Started with a nice girl, then continued with a guy, then switched over to another girl, and the guy showed up again. All of them ignored coming by the table. For a new restaurant I guess these are just the kinks they need to work out but we enjoyed our meal.

The main reason to come to this place is for the view. It is one of only a handful of places that are right on the lake front with a view of the inner harbour and Toronto Islands. Food-wise, this place is not too bad. The Rainbow Trout sliders we had to start we fantastic. The mains are also decent, above your average pub grub. The deserts are the weak point at this place - looks (and tastes) like they are bought in. They are mostly heavy with lots of spray cream. They have a ton of decent locally sourced beers on draft which is great. The Blanche de Chambly from Quebec is a good choice. Having been to this place twice now, it is getting busier and I would recommend booking - specify to sit outside or you will get an inside table

I was looking forward to my first visit to this new waterfront patio restaurant, after reading good things about it in the Star. However, as we approached the patio, I was shocked to discover it had been taken over by a raucous fundraiser for the provincial Tory campaign, complete with annoying speeches over a loud speaker and an address from Tim Hudak. No mention of this was made when I reserved my table on the patio a few days earlier, and when I asked for a table closer to the water, I was informed that area was reserved for the group guests. We were therefore stuck at a narrow table near the entrance, with wait staff scurrying around us all evening. There was no apology nor attempt to mitigate what was clearly an unpleasant situation.

Although this is a very new place, they have a sensibly developed menu and everything we got was quite good, and not terribly expensive. The main attraction is the setting, which is overlooking Lake Ontario and the harbour islands. Overall, it is a nice place to have a meal, though quite out of the way to get to, and is probably a good spot to bring a group to have drinks.

The ambiance provided in this waterfront location is simply outstanding and the quality of the food more than matches the ambiance. If you get there in the early evening traffic is currently horrendous and parking is not good although there is parking - with validation - in front of the building. Approach via Lower Jarvis Street so you can make a right turn into the building area.

Fabulous location, right at harbour's edge with great views of the water, planes landing, etc. An eclectic menu. We have been twice; tried the mussels, pizza, wings, salmon sandwich. All tasty. At our last visit the french fries were inconsistently cooked. One order was perfect while another one was overdone. We were also served another table's meal instead of our own. Since the restaurant has only been open a week, we hope that time and practise will eliminate these rough spots. However, we will put up with a lot for the location! Note that parking is pricey at $4 an hour.

We went to ATG to kick off a night of celebration and were not disappointed! What stood out the most was the unusually attentive and friendly staff. From the moment we walked in we felt like VIP guests! We made a reservation for Saturday at 7:45pm. I think they appreciated that we made a reservation. They do have a large patio with a great view, which we would have enjoyed if we hadn't been watching the Stanley Cup playoffs inside. As far as food, I had the sablefish with quinoa and beets. I am gluten-intolerant so my options were somewhat limited, but I was happy with what I got. Overall a good experience - I'd like to go back and enjoy the patio and try some more menu options.
