AG at The SterlingFantastic!AG at the Sterling was fabulous! We were celebrating our anniversary and it was the perfect spot for a romatice evening-great atmosphere. Was a nice departure from the crowds on the main streets. The service was wonderful and the food was incredible. The staff were tentative and provided everything we needed and more. The chef provided a little appetizer, as a compliment, that was fantastic. The cocktails were delicious and not over priced. The food was superb in everyway. My wife and I went to a different restaurant the night before and were disappointed. This place made up for it. We loved the fresh local food and you could tell the chef cared about the food quality. I loved that the waitstaff would detail what you ordered when it was brought to the table. Was not feeling particularly hungry after feasting at other restaurants throughout the day, but AG had food that was prepared so impeccably, we had no problems cleaning off our plates. The venison tartar that arrived compliments of the chef was a pleasant surprise and gave a good clue as to how much pride the chefs take in their food.
Service was pleasant and the atmosphere created by the live music really enhanced the entire dining experience. Price is incredibly reasonable considering the portion sizes and quality. Would absolutely recommend to any friends visiting the area.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMAG = Amazing good & Great atmospherThe food, I honestly can't think of what to say! It's so flavourful with every bite! I had the duck and it was so tender an juicy. My boyfriend had the tenderloin and it was cooked to perfection. Everything was amazing and our server was very knowledgable paired our wine to our dinner suggested the bone marrow (meat butter it's so smooth and delish!) the atmosphere was very nice dim lighting and a nice soothing piano in the back ground . I would recommend AG to anyone looking for a full flavour dining experience who's staff is very knowldgable of their menus and will go above and beyond to meet your needs! We love local, thoughtfully prepared food a'la Alice Waters, and AG hit the mark on everything. We chose the special Farm to Fork meal with wine pairings, and every bite was a symphony of flavor. Our last vacation was to France, and the food at the AG still surpassed our wildest dreams. Make a point to find this restaurant, tucked into the Sterling Inn and Spa.
