Afternoon Tea - The PhoenicianTraditionI have been taking tea with my daughters since they were little girls. Sometimes, we go just for the heck of it and sometimes we go to celebrate a milestone in their lives. Tea at The Phoenician will always hold a special place in our hearts and memory banks.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMThe best tea ever!!Everything about tea at The Phoenician was wonderful! Natalie, our server, truly made the day a spectacular occasion! She was personable, helped us pick our teas and encouraged us to eat as much as we wanted (and even more). Also, she helped my mom pick a second pot of tea to enjoy with her desserts. And when we were too full to eat many desserts, she boxed as many as we wanted. The final special moment was when Natalie brought a plate with 4 yummy cookies and a chocolate Happy Birthday banner. How very thoughtful!! My mom and I have been to many great places for tea, but The Phoenician tea ranks at the top of our list.4/29/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful Celebration Spot!Always a favorite for special celebrations. We love the scones, so make sure you don't drink too much tea so you can eat the wonderful treats.4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMGirl TimeMy best friend and I have afternoon tea at the Phoenician whenever I am in town from the midwest. The ambience is lovely and the food selection never fails to entice us. We have a great "girls" afternoon. It is always an extra treat to see that Natalie is our server. She is sweet, good natured, and attentive. We'll be back again in June!4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Afternoon Tea in Town! This is the best afternoon tea experience in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. I highly recommend it, even if you can only go once a year.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMI have been to afternoon teaI have been to afternoon tea at the Four Seasons in San Diego and the Ritz in SF, it is comparable and would return for tea at the Phoenician .Wonderful experience and would definitely recommend for a special treat. A beautiful place for a special meal, great service, perfect views. The piano music is wonderful, a ladies day out without compare. I've had tea in many places, but always come back to the Phoenician.
Afterwards, we end up on the balcony, and invite the guys to come have a drink.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMWas not very impressed withWas not very impressed with the Food.
Rest was awesome...4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMAfternoon TeaWe thoroughly enjoyed Afternoon Tea the Phoenician. They offered an abundant selection of teas, our two choices were amazing! The service was wonderful as was the table setting. I liked being next to the patio and seeing the beautiful resort and Phoenix landscape. It was dissapointing having resort guests (dressed in their shorts, flip flops and sun suits) walk through our beautiful tea time. An expected result, I guess visiting a resort. We will go again.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Best Pampering Afternoon TeaThe best afternoon tea experience on this side of the Atlantic -- and rivals those on the other side as well. The service is consummate, the ambiance charming and elegant without being fussy, yet remains comfortable, the food and tea choices are generous and delicious, and there's even live piano music to top it all off. Seconds are offered after each of three courses, and each guest gets their own pot of tea, with seconds offered. We all loved every minute of it, and plan to return again soon. It's a great spot to bring out-of-towners, who are always impressed. Each seat has a nice view. While we've been to the Phoenician's tea numerous times before, it never gets "stale." We've never failed to have an absolutely delightful experience.3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMDelightful Afternoon TeaThis was our first time at The Phoenician for Afternoon Tea. They truly have mastered the art of taking tea. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed the man playing the piano. The service was impeccable.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMIt is always such a very specialIt is always such a very special treat to have afternoon tea at the Phoenician. I lived in England for seven years and this experience is, indeed, quite authentic. Over the years I have brought my daughters-in-laws to be here, my husband for a Valentine's Day treat and a friend for her birthday. My favorite tea sandwich is the dainty ham and asparagus - and the lemon curd served with the scones is delicious. The service is impeccable. You'll love it!3/20/2013 12:00:00 AM5 StarPerfect, what else would you expect from the Phoenician3/19/2013 12:00:00 AMFabulous place to have AfternoonFabulous place to have Afternoon Tea. Great location.3/14/2013 12:00:00 AMPhoenician knows how to doPhoenician knows how to do everything just right! Our hostess/server, Natalie, is a keeper - we ask for her each time we come for tea. Outstanding day from service to ambience. A perfect afternoon.3/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWe have been to AfternoonWe have been to Afternoon Teas in our local Fairmont Hotel and wanted to try a new venue. All of us enjoyed the sparkling wine with our lunch which added a more festive flavor. The food at The Phoenician is served rather than offered on a tiered platter as at the Fairmont. We were offered seconds, so no one left hungry. The scones are the best part of the meal, and we were offered one very large cranberry and one very large plain scone. The highlight of our meal was the service offered by Wanda. She made the afternoon a memorable one and we will be back as long as she is there. If you have never been to an Afternoon Tea we would highly recommend that you try this one.3/3/2013 12:00:00 AMa nice formal tea: greata nice formal tea: great sandwiches & tea, good scones but desert was too sugary. pricey, but a good experience.1/8/2013 12:00:00 AMThe most wonderful, marvelousThe most wonderful, marvelous experience!
