Afternoon Tea - Grand America HotelAfternoon MagicWhat a wonderful way to celebrate the start of Mother's Day weekend by having afternoon tea with my dear friends. We loved the opportunity to be seated to hear beautiful music and enjoy wonderful tea and conversation. At first it seems the tea fare may not be enough however one soon learns that the food is quite filling. The service was wonderful, giving us plenty of time to chat and be with our group but also attentive so we never felt like we were waiting. A fun selection of sandwiches and pastries, they even brought out specific food for our vegetarian. The tea was good, not the best that I have had but good. We all found something that we liked. The only complaint I had was I had a special request and it was never addressed. No one told me it wasn't possible to grant it and it wasn't granted.
