Admiral SteakhouseWhat were we waiting for?Of our party of six, three had beef and three had seafood, and all were very pleased. We had not tried Admiral -- the idea of a steakhouse in Maine (with the abundance of wonderful fish and seafood) seemed a little strange to us, but we were entertaining guests and decided to present the meat-eaters with more options than most restaurants here offer. We're so glad that we did, and in fact, have made a reservation for next weekend at Admiral. To me, that would be a good recommendation! Service was friendly, polite, and accurate. My husband and I had the Lazy Lobster, bathed in an excellent sherry-cream sauce; the tuna steak was done to a T; and the meat-eaters (12 oz. filet and two prime-ribs) were smiling widely at the close of the meal.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMHospitality was an "A"Erin our server was so friendly, helpful, and courteous. They have a great deal - two 3-course dinners and a bottle of wine for $49. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find anyone to be the second person with me! My dining companion wanted a steak, so he ordered from the regular menu. I ordered a burger which tasted fantastic. We ordered it medium-rare and medium-rare it was. Perfect! We were there on a Monday night during the winter, so understandably the place was almost (not quite) empty.
