Chilco st.) or 2hr prepaid street parking on Denman street , valet ($7) available Friday and Saturday, complementary valet available Sun. to Thursday and paid parking available at the Safeway parking lot on the corner of Robson and Denman and the West end community centre. Both lots are only a block away from the restaurant.

refreshing return to food made with love, tradition and soul. Our goal is to create an experience for our guests that will capture the essence of Adesso's unique regional cuisine. Our menu features such items as pizza Tartufo (black truffle fonduta, new potatoes, onions and house-made unsmoked bacon)and enticing entrées including braised Lamb Shanks served with artichokes and white beans, roasted Sablefish marinated in marsala, and Cornish Hen with chestnuts and black truffles. Pasta, from Tagliatelle to Pansotti, is complemented with a variety of tasty accompaniments, from Berkshire pork to wild mushrooms, fresh seafood to sage butter.

The food was pretty good and the service was excellent, but it was quite pricey. The portions are also pretty small. If the prices were lower and the portions bigger I would have given more around 4-4.5 stars.

We have been here many times and loved it every time. This time with five friends and the food and service were amazing. The servers are always helpful and knowledgable and they make the best suggestions. We really love this room too as it reminds of New York.

A very nice resturant, food was great except the pasta was a bit hard and probably could use a few more minutes of cooking time. The special was steak, very flavorful but was also very chewy. Overall I would come back again to bring someone who hasn't been here before.

Very good food and service in a fairly unattractive room. Nortern Italian food (In style) with good presentation and a decent wine list. The beet salad appetiser was excellent, as was the elk entree. Other dishes were good too.

Another really great night at Adesso. We have been coming here for over a year now and have never been disappointed. The food is always interesting and carefully prepared and the service always friendly and knowledgable. Highly recommend to all. This place should have a line up out the door every night.

This was our second visit to Adesso, and it was just a wonderful as the first time. Great intimate ambience, professional service, lovely Ligurian food--everything hummed. Don’t miss their wild mushroom pizza as a first course if it’s in season. Fabulous!!
