Diner Reviews
  • "We went here for Easter brunch and had a great experience. The buffet was filled with all types of delectable goodies that were fresh and delicious. Also the entree selection was nice and I for one thoroughly enjoyed the Pork chop with corn pudding. My guests also enjoyed their entrees. This is definitely a place I will visit again. ."

  • "We had a great brunch! The restaurant was attractive and conversation friendly. The brunch part was appetizers and desserts. Lots of fruit, grilled veggies salami and cheeses, a spinach salad and great soup...as well as some hearty breads, the pretzels rolls our favorite. For the main course, there was a great selection from French toast and eggs Benedict to a 10 oz pork chop. We enjoyed our choices. The desserts were very tasty but only finger foods..no chessecake, cake or pie but all were excellent! We have been to many brunches where it was definitely quantity over quality. That was not the case here. Quality was #1."

  • "I would recommend Adelle's restaurant to anyone who is looking for great service and excellent food in a beautiful setting. A menu with a large variety of meals that have a splendid extra special touch by the chef. A very enjoyable evening."

  • "Always a great experience. Entertained friends, it was their first visit. They loved it! Remains one of our favorite restaurants."

  • "Wow, I think I had the best salmon dish ever bursting with complex and complementary flavors, textures and color. The pistachio crusted salmon with the coconut curry sauce, sauté d kale and mashed sweet potatoes delivered with a smile. Salads were very mouth watering too with their red and golden beet salad and the all time favorite wedge salad with blue cheese dressing. Over all restaurant is warm, inviting and comfortable spot for friends to meet and share while enjoying a fine bottle of wine and a very satisfying meal to remember. We throughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you!"

  • "The service was a little slow. It was almost an hour before they took our appetizer orders. But food was great and many great menu options. Highly recommend the braised short ribs!"

  • "We go to Adelle's probably 6X per year. The menu and specials are always intriguing. The dishes are well prepared and served nice and hot . Service is attentive and friendly. Our only complaint is that they are a bit high priced. We are foodies, and are willing to pay more for innovative, well prepared dishes. That being said, we are always surprised by how high the bill is here."

  • "Our waiter John was fabulous! The food was great. Signature Scallop dish was Fab. Salmon sauce was great and I LOVED the beet salad. What a nice night! John introduced us to a new wine fr Spy Valley. We will be back! Thanks for the nice comp dessert for our special night! Great cheese cake!!"

  • "The food was outstanding! Service was good for a Thursday night, and the waiter was attentive. Was not impressed with the wine list. Very short with only a few choices by type of wine, although the Chardonnay I had was excellent. I went to celebrate my birthday, and the restaurant gave me a free dessert. I would not recommend this restaurant as a place for children. They have live music on certain nights in the bar."

  • "We wanted to take my daughter somewhere nice with a strong menu and thought of Adele's . She enjoyed it as we all did. Two of us had the short ribs which are always great. There are always 2 or 3 solid Seafood choices and the scallops were also terrific. Special was the lamb chops and they looked great. Very warm and cozy atmosphere. If you want fine food and classy environment in the suburbs, Adele's is one of my favorites."

  • "We had a most enjoyable evening at Adelle's. We were seated immediately at a delightful table in a very cozy room where we could view the see through fireplace. Food was very good and served in a timely manner."

  • "Contrary to the glowing reviews about Adelles's. I found the food subpar. Service was good, ambiance nice but that did not make up for the taste of the food. I would not return to Adelle's based on my experience there."

  • "Great server. She really knew the menu and wine list and was accommodating. Risotto dish is always a must here. Best ever! Seafood entrees were cooked just right with great seasonings and vegetable pairings. Chard was still crisp and cooked with a broth that was just the right balance to the bitterness of the green. Vegetable hash served with the scallops was fresh and bright. Only 2 areas of disappointment. Other than the beautiful fresh white anchoveys, the cleanser salad was unremarkable and the lettuce was chopped too small. Skip the gelato. The pistachio had no flavor and it was smothered in chocolate sauce and whipped cream like a Sunday. Definetly overkill. Just a plain scope with good flavor would have been much better."

  • "New to the area. This recommended. Location is not the best, but the decor inside is very nice. Went for husbands birthday noted on the reservation and they sat us by the kitchen. Had to be moved. Food was very, very good."

  • "I hosted a bridal shower at Adelles a couple of years ago. Everyone raved about the food and staff. It was truly outstanding. For some reason, I had not been back to the restaurant. So I decided to take friends who are moving from the area to celebrate a new chapter in their lives. Again, the food and the service were wonderful. We spent a long relaxed evening, and it made for such a great time together - though bittersweet. I would highly recommend Adelles to everyone!"

  • "Several of the dishes sat too long in the kitcken..........tepid and cold, however the dining room was not that busy. Nice, varied menu, something for all taste. The ladies liked the small plate idea......... Great server Thanks"

  • "Used to be one of our favorite spots, but ever since they moved things have deteriorated a little. Food and wine are more expensive and its lost a little of the ambience. Still good, just no longer great."

  • "Adelle's is one of our favorite local restaurants. The food is excellent, wait staff pays attention to details, they have a very good wine/beer/cocktail list. One of our favorite appetizers is the Thai Lobster Roll and you can't go wrong with whatever risotto they have on the menu. On this particular evening one person had the meatloaf, one had pasta with shrimp, scallop, & calamari. The meatloaf was moist and had great flavor, as did the sides. The pasta and fish were cooked to perfection. There were enough leftovers of both meals to bring home for Saturday lunch."

  • "Food is wicked good. Everything was absolutely perfect. Service as good as it can get for this area - very smart about food, wine, and very attentive. Need to professionalize their music selection - too poppy and immature. Need to up the ante on this. Make it fit the scene. Also, need to do something about the cold draft that manages to come in half way into the main dining room every time somebody opens the front door. Other than those two things, I would go back in a heartbeat. Great job."

  • "My partner Lynn and I love this place and know most of the staff by name by now. The food is always perfect, and we love the service, most notably in the bar area when Sherri is attending to all of our requests!!!! The owners are very friendly and pride themselves in knowing their customers and making everyone feel welcome and at home. If you haven't been here, go !!!"

  • "Both the Cassoulet and the Crayfish Rissotto were delicious! Chef John's take on Caesar salad is wonderful and we even had dessert - the salted caramel ice cream with a gingersnap. Yummmmmm."

  • "This was our first time at Adelle's but it will definitely not be our last. The food was excellent. I wanted to order the shrimp risotto but it was being offered with a spicy sauce. I was concerned the dish would be too spicy for my taste. Our server recommended that the chef adapt my dish to have a butter sauce. I ordered the risotto with the shrimp butter sauce and it was outstanding. My husband ordered the cassoulet and it also was also excellent. We had our dessert and after dinner drinks at the bar. It was enjoyable to sit at the bar and listen to the live music. Our service was excellent. Everyone was so friendly. We can't wait to go back."

  • "Not our first time and won't be our last! As always the food was consistently wonderful. The scalloped sweet potates were beyond belief! Steak cooked perfectly. Service was a bitoff but there was entertainment which made it a bit difficut to get around at times. Highly reccomend."

  • "Everything about this restaurant was great, the food was awesome, but our waiter was horrible. He never checked on us and he gave us the impression that we didn't belong there... he also had an attitude when we ask him to split the bill."

  • "This was our second visit to Adelle's and we had a great time. Everyone that works there, from wait staff to busboys, seems to enjoy working at Adelle's and that adds to the positive experience. The menu is varied and has lots of choices for a special dinner. For example, one of the daily specials during our visit was skate, and although my wife isn't a huge seafood fan, she really liked the way it was prepared. It's easy to order too much food at Adelle's but it is a great place for an anniversary dinner."

  • "We enjoyed our dinner and ambiance was lovely. The only complaint was my husband's chicken portion in his entree was (maybe 3-4 ozs?). He LOVED the flavor but the wimpy chicken portion left a lot to be desired. We assumed the kitchen left out the "other missing" piece. The service on the otherhand left much to be desired. The place is a bit on the upscale side but our waitress, albeit "nice", just seemed more like a server that would better fit in at a Chilis. The busboy did not refill our water glasses or bread basket unless we asked. He seemed rushed and just sloppily "dropped down" the basket at our table and gushed the water into our glasses. Ok, so I realize this may seem petty, however, it is a part of the full dining experience"
