A word from Adele's Authentic Cajun Experience
It has been my lifelong dream to have a New Orleans restaurant. I had the privilege of studying under many great chefs in New Orleans, which fueled my passion. When my wife, Ruth, began to share that passion, we knew the time was right to pursue the dream. (Adele is Ruth’s middle name, so, it makes me smile every time I see it!)

Our menu is great tasting Cajun cuisine, made from scratch, with the freshest ingredients available to us. This is our home and we want you to feel like family, so if it’s not on the menu, please ask.
Bon Appetite! Laissez les bon temps rouler!

Diner Reviews
  • "Our first visit to this hidden gem! My husband loves Étouffée which is why we chose this restaurant for dinner. Usually he prefers shrimp to crawfish, but said the crawfish was cooked so perfectly it melted in your mouth. Everything we ate from appetizers to beignets was wonderful. Our server took fabulous care of us. We will make this a regular destination for dinner."

  • "This is not the first time that I have been to Adele's and again it did not disappoint. We shared raw oyster's , which were delicious, Mussels Ponchatrain, also delicious, and my entree was Shrimp & Grits, outstanding. I would definitely recommend Adele's for a fine Cajun dining experience. LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!"

  • "The reviews I read were spot on. Although, from what I was told the restaurant recently expanded and there is much more room. You may be able to get away with not having reservations. The food was great, especially the red beans and rice, as well as the crawfish etoufee. The chef brought out a lot of the food which we all thought was very neat and different. Our waitress was awesome too. I will definitely be back."

  • "Reasonably priced, great service, spicy but not too spicy (and we are from Louisiana). You must have a reservation on weekend nights but we walked in for lunch no problem. In a strip shopping center on the north side of Holcomb Bridge Road about two blocks from Alpharetta Highway. Two of us ate lunch (no liquor) and left full for $30."

  • "It used to be really cold at Adele's. Before when the door opened every table inside could feel the chill. I haven't been back in a while because of that issue. Now, the owners have created a fix for that problem. The restaurant is much warmer and I will definitely be coming back more often!"

  • "When you eat at this place, the food makes you feel like you are in New Orleans! From the moment we stepped in until we received our check, the experience was one we will never forget! All of the food was excellent and our server was just as great! We travel from Columbus, GA and are always looking for local hot spots to recommend to our friends and family! Adele's will be definitely at the top of the list!! We will definitely visit again when we have the chance!"

  • "Tried Adele's again after a not so good Sunday Brunch First Visit. This time weekday lunch. Service was great and the scallop, asparagus and green onion risotto lunch special was a good choice. Much better the second time around!!"

  • "I am walking out the door, but wanted to compliment Adele's and encourage everyone to enjoy the food and the atmosphere. A lovely place. I WAS pleasantly surprised. Thank you Adele's!"

  • "Our first visit was at Sunday Brunch. A good variety of food, but obviously we got there much too early. It was just after 11:00 and almost all the food was lukewarm. It was as if they had prepared the food earlier in the morning and made no attempt to keep it warm until they lit the warmers under the pans. I mentioned it to our waitress and we didn't get much of a response. I also mentioned it to one of the assistant chefs who at least apologized. I'll give them one more try, but probably not at brunch!"

  • "I was looking forward to my first Adele's trip last weekend. I had heard so many wonderful things. My party of 4 showed up at 9pm for our reservation and we were greeted warmly and seated immediately. We were given our drinks (the hurricane was to die for) and then asked what we would like to eat. We were then informed as we started to place orders that over half of the menu was unavailable. They were out of Shrimp and oysters which meant that they couldn't make practically all of the items on the menu. I settled for Crawfish Etouffe, and while it was good I was told that the crawfish wasn't fresh. Would I go back? Yes...the overall experience was great. But I was disappointed in the menu options. I hope this doesn't happen again."

  • "The lobster bisque is incredible. When the waiter suggests dessert, I tell them the lobster bisque was my dessert...so rich and delicious!"

  • "We really enjoyed our first visit to Adele's Authentic Cajun Experience-RESERVATIONS are needed-otherwise you will sit at the bar - did not look like a bad experience but most of the tables in the small restaurant were reserved when we arrived. The wait staff was great - took care of us right away and checked in to make sure everything was to our liking - the Chef stopped by to introduce himself and made us feel welcome (as newcomers to GA this is a treat). As we were finishing up our meal, the restaurant was getting full and the noise level did increase. Loved the FOOD - will come back again- you have to try the Cajun Potato chips on the side menu - we loved them so much we ordered 2 side orders to GO-have never done that in a restaurant."

  • "Our dinners at Adele's never ceases to amaze us. The service is EXCEPTIONAL and the food is finger licking good! The atmosphere is romantic, happy, professional, and fun all at the same time. The Chef makes it a point to visit every table and makes you feel like a very special guest. The servers are top-notch and just AMAZING. Everything on the menu is great and beautiful to look at and eat."

  • "First time here. I was told by a couple folxs to give it a try and was not disappointed. We started with a cocktail and some fat crab cakes, and both were right on! My wife picked her own special Valentine lobster and it was delicious! I had more of the tradition fare of jambalaya and crawfish etouphe (Sorry about the spelling) - spicy but tasty. Overall good experience, but next time I'm going to try a Po Boy sandwich and that will decide if this will be my Cajun joint or not.."

  • "Food was good. Che and owner introduced himself. Our server was off her game that night. We had to keep flagging her down for service. AND she piled all of our courses on table at once. We had to send the entrée back as we were still on our appetizer. But, worth another try..as said food good."

  • "If you like Cajun food, this is the place to go. The menu has good variety; the food is well prepared and exceptionally good; the staff is attentive and friendly. Since they first opened, they have doubled their space, added a bar, and enhanced their menu. Adele's is on our "return often" list."
    Dined on 2/14/2014
  • "One thing is for certain, if you don't like Cajun cuisine then obviously this is not the place for you. However the staff in the kitchen clearly love what they do and this is reflected in their food. Based on food alone, Adele's is a solid 4 stars and a definite repeat featuring awesome dishes such as the Gumbo, Oysters, Alligator "bites" and Jambalaya. Although the food was excellent, the service felt slow at times and in the end forgot one of our deserts. Aside from that, I'm sure I will be returning in the future."

  • "We went there for Valentines this year and the food was OUTSTANDING!! I would highly recommend this to anyone that wants to get their Cajun on. Crab cakes appetizer were great, the Crawfish Etoufee was the best I have ever had and the fish special was out of this world. What a great find for us in Roswell!!!"

  • "Went for lunch on a Saturday. It was quite busy. Everyone enjoyed when they ordered. I got the trio including gumbo, jambalaya, and the red beans and rice. All were great. My husband had the catfish po boy and it was great. Will definitely be back!! Loved it."

  • "GREAT place and what a "find" on OpenTable - Adele's has been open since 2011 but I don't get to the "burbs" enough to know about it IT WAS EXCELLENT Spoke to the owner (s) and just a pleasure to dine here even during a quiet lunch. The Po'Boy was great (Tiger Sauce on the table - Use It, I buy it all the time for home use) The Gumbo was one of the best in Atlanta - and it is the real reason I will copme back! We WILL be back!"

  • "We have visited twice and have loved every item on the menu that we have tried. The beignets melt in your mouth. Recommend the gumbo, shrimp and grits, and lobster bisque."

  • "The food at Adele's is outstanding. Marc really knows how to cook cajun food and it shows. He simmers his sauces and gumbos all day to give it a real cajun taste without being overly spicy. The result is a depth of flavor most restaurants don't have. Unlike a lot of cajun restaurants, the food is spiced just right, not too hot. The service is excellent and the staff is friendly. The only criticism that I have is that it is a bit too noisy. We went to dine with friends and could not converse without shouting over the music. I don't know why restaurant owners think that the amps should be turned up when people are dining. But, overall, the food and service overcomes any drawback."

  • "The seating a the back of the restaurant is good for conversation but terrible for service. After waiting almost 20 minutes, my friend went to get menus from a corner table; the drink order arrived with a beer missing (tired of waiting we went to the bar to get it); the appetizer of Friend Alligator Tail was tender and light but with more kale garnish than meat, making this $15 plate rather pricey for what it was (also the waitress forgot to bring enough small plates for our table to share); the entrees (Shrimp Po-Boys, Lauren's Trio, Shrimp & Grits, Salmon Burger) were very flavorful, even though the Po-Boys were only 1/2 the size of typical Po-Boys; the Beignets were excellent. I'll give friends warnings when recommending Adele's..."

  • "I enjoyed the food, the service was excellent (thanks, Kira!) and the proprietor is a true restaurateur. A little noisy for my tastes, although some relatively inexpensive acoustical treatments could address that. The Andouille sausage was excellent and the panoply of Cajun seasonings was obvious."

  • "It was fiancée birthday and I wanted to try something new. We truly enjoyed ourselves! The food was fresh and hot, the environment was comfortable and peaceful and the customer service was exceptional! Thanks for the great service!! The owner came and introduced herself and had a great personality! We will be back to support! Thanks"

  • "Lobster bisque and lump crabmeat soup were outstanding! Jambalaya serving on the small side, but good. Seafood gumbo was spicy (which I liked), but wasn't thick enough. The gumbo I've had in NO and along the coast had a roux that was more of a "muddy" thicker consistency. But overall, good experience. Owner/hostess was very attentive and pleasant and waiter was great (can't remember his name, but he was from up north)."

  • "Outstanding cajun! This restaurant gets it right on pretty much everything. The food of course is excellent, the atmosphere is casual but smartly done. Open kitchen with surrounding bar tells you this is about the food. Value is very good too. This is my second time and I'll be back again because there are still too many dishes I want to try."

  • "The po boys were all delicious that my group of four had for lunch. The shrimp po boys was exceptional. Our service was very poor; we had to ask our waitress for water twice, I asked her three times for a doggie bag, and she overcharged on one order which she corrected after we pointed out the mistake."
