A word from Adele's Authentic Cajun Experience
It has been my lifelong dream to have a New Orleans restaurant. I had the privilege of studying under many great chefs in New Orleans, which fueled my passion. When my wife, Ruth, began to share that passion, we knew the time was right to pursue the dream. (Adele is Ruth’s middle name, so, it makes me smile every time I see it!)

Our menu is great tasting Cajun cuisine, made from scratch, with the freshest ingredients available to us. This is our home and we want you to feel like family, so if it’s not on the menu, please ask.
Bon Appetite! Laissez les bon temps rouler!

Diner Reviews
  • "Delicious meal......fabulous mojito! Loved the live music. We will return."

  • "Pasta Lagniappe is my favorite, but all else is great-tasting as well, especially beignets & fun cocktails, and everything at such good prices--I keep coming back and bring more family/friends each time! Service used to be a little slow, but this past Sat. night was busy, yet our waiter kept up well and even let us try complimentary banana crème shooters--what a fun surprise! Check out Adele's for something different and delicious in the Roswell area (parking is easy too!)"

  • "We have had dinner on several occasions at Adele's, and it is always a good experience. The food is nicely prepared, and the Po-Boys are excellent. When you order shrimp and grits at Adeles's, you get a bowl full of shrimp in a delicious cajun sauce. The proprietors come by the table to make sure everything is just the way you like it. I don't quite understand why it is rarely busy there, but it is not because of the food. I recommend it."

  • "We will return! Took our friends here for the first time - great food - great service friendly owner. Simple place with good food, live music highly recommend."

  • "Adele's is a great neighborhood gem - a great combination of good Cajun food, good drinks and great service in a casual atmosphere. The musical entertainment on our recent Friday night visit added to our overall experience. We'll frequent Adele's."

  • "Went to Adele's for the first time on Friday night. Did not know it existed. My date was very late and my server was so sweet and friendly and we talked about going to school in Louisiana as I once did and she did now. The food was delicious and the prices incredibly reasonable. I definitely intend to go back."

  • "We have had our share of Cajun food and can be a little picky about it. This was fine Cajun fare! The menu isn't large, but there is something for every taste. The shrimp and grits - wonderful. The jambalaya, great. Wait service outstanding. Mojitos from the bar - outstanding. The restaurant is in an unassuming strip shopping center on Holcomb Bridge but don't let that fool you. They know how to fix Cajun."

  • "I have to start by saying that the owner was very sweet and the wait staff was very attentive. The restaurant was empty in the early afternoon (that should have been a red flag). The food was not fresh, it was over spiced to hide the poor quality. The cook staff walked back and forth with what appeared to be major attitudes. We didn't smell food cooking, nor did we see signs of food cooking. This made me think that the chewy chicken, sticky rice, unnecessarily over spiced food was reheated or microwaved. I am incredibly disappointed with this Open table choice. We will not go back. "

  • "On the Menu........The Best thing about Adell's is the Po'Boy and Gumbo combo. They do this well and it is the same each time While I have found dinner to vary (had some good ones and had some bad ones on the dinner entree side... for example, the shrimp and grits and beens GRITS with a couple of shrimp and a big dissapointment) the sandwiches and gumbo have been what has brought us back. So grab some gumbo and a Po'Boy and Enjoy!"

  • "We had made a reservation and we were seated right away. The hostess got our drinks for us and then then we waited and waited. Finally we were asked our order by the waitress who was very sweet. We received our appetizer quickly but waited a long time for our entree. One of the dishes was missing the andouille sausage and when we pointed it out, they just brought us some on a plate which did not compliment the dish as it would have if it had been cooked with it. Then we had the Beignets and they were wonderful. However we waiting almost 30 minutes for the check. It took two hours to order, eat and pay for dinner. If you can spare the time, this may be the place for you. The food is definitely overpriced, but it is flavorful."

  • "So disappointed in this very special Mother's Day experience. Have been to restaurant on at least 2 other occasions and the food and service was awesome. This experience #1 was an over inflated brunch price. No menu items, No bengiets. ALL drinks (including coffee) were an additional charge. My family isn't wealthy, but I was so embarrassed that I suggested Adele's for Mother's Day. It was a financial strain for 5 members of my family...and it was too late once we sat down and ordered coffee and tea to get up and find another restaurant. The brunch menu was okay...some of the food had obviously been there for a while...it just wasn't very good. It definitely was not worth the price, and we will probably not come back again. "

  • "Made reservations but not told a Brunch. Staff very nice with the exception of the hostess. Didnot make the effort to try to accommodate customers without reservations. However, the owner went above and beyond to set up tables for several customers. That was great service in action. We were at the front table and saw this happen during the time we were having our meal. Mothers Day brunch was wonderful. We will return."

  • "We had an excellent dinner at Adele's. The shrimp po boy was very tasty. The red beans and rice and seafood gumbo were also full of flavor. The Chef comes and checks on each table. The next time we are in Roswell we will be back. "

  • "We cannot wait to return to enjoy more of the menu! Smoked oysters were both creative and outstanding. Mussels were delicious. The lobster bisque was the best in the state. Finally a place who knows how to make lobster bisque!!! Nice chunks of lobster. Yummy! Don't get me started about the beignets and the bread pudding. Plenty of fabulous bourbon sauce. If you like seafood, Cajun, or just good food, give Adele's a try. "

  • "I always slip away to Adele's for some Cajun goodness. mmmmmm gumbo. But don't forget to leave room for beignets! every time I go, the service is always friendly and attentive. the staff is great!"

  • "Adele's allowed me to make reservations for a friend and his wife for their 5th anniversary and they had a great time. The food is great and spiced just right!! The only place in Ga. to get real Beignets."
    Dined on 4/25/2014
  • "The buffet was delicious, with shrimp and grits made fresh, prime rib, ham and lamb at a carving station, with fruit, rice, and pasta for our small granddaughters. The biscuits and beignets were to die for. Our waiter kept up with us on a vey busy day and we were a group of 11."

  • "I am an actual Cajun from Louisiana. It's been a bit hard to adjust to living in GA because I am so used to Cajun food. This place offers REAL Cajun food that tastes amazing and gives me that at home feeling. I highly recommend Adele's!"

  • "Our first visit to this hidden gem! My husband loves Étouffée which is why we chose this restaurant for dinner. Usually he prefers shrimp to crawfish, but said the crawfish was cooked so perfectly it melted in your mouth. Everything we ate from appetizers to beignets was wonderful. Our server took fabulous care of us. We will make this a regular destination for dinner."
    Dined on 4/4/2014
  • "This is not the first time that I have been to Adele's and again it did not disappoint. We shared raw oyster's , which were delicious, Mussels Ponchatrain, also delicious, and my entree was Shrimp & Grits, outstanding. I would definitely recommend Adele's for a fine Cajun dining experience. LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!"

  • "The reviews I read were spot on. Although, from what I was told the restaurant recently expanded and there is much more room. You may be able to get away with not having reservations. The food was great, especially the red beans and rice, as well as the crawfish etoufee. The chef brought out a lot of the food which we all thought was very neat and different. Our waitress was awesome too. I will definitely be back."

  • "Reasonably priced, great service, spicy but not too spicy (and we are from Louisiana). You must have a reservation on weekend nights but we walked in for lunch no problem. In a strip shopping center on the north side of Holcomb Bridge Road about two blocks from Alpharetta Highway. Two of us ate lunch (no liquor) and left full for $30."

  • "When you eat at this place, the food makes you feel like you are in New Orleans! From the moment we stepped in until we received our check, the experience was one we will never forget! All of the food was excellent and our server was just as great! We travel from Columbus, GA and are always looking for local hot spots to recommend to our friends and family! Adele's will be definitely at the top of the list!! We will definitely visit again when we have the chance!"

  • "It used to be really cold at Adele's. Before when the door opened every table inside could feel the chill. I haven't been back in a while because of that issue. Now, the owners have created a fix for that problem. The restaurant is much warmer and I will definitely be coming back more often!"

  • "Tried Adele's again after a not so good Sunday Brunch First Visit. This time weekday lunch. Service was great and the scallop, asparagus and green onion risotto lunch special was a good choice. Much better the second time around!!"

  • "I am walking out the door, but wanted to compliment Adele's and encourage everyone to enjoy the food and the atmosphere. A lovely place. I WAS pleasantly surprised. Thank you Adele's!"

  • "Our first visit was at Sunday Brunch. A good variety of food, but obviously we got there much too early. It was just after 11:00 and almost all the food was lukewarm. It was as if they had prepared the food earlier in the morning and made no attempt to keep it warm until they lit the warmers under the pans. I mentioned it to our waitress and we didn't get much of a response. I also mentioned it to one of the assistant chefs who at least apologized. I'll give them one more try, but probably not at brunch!"

  • "I was looking forward to my first Adele's trip last weekend. I had heard so many wonderful things. My party of 4 showed up at 9pm for our reservation and we were greeted warmly and seated immediately. We were given our drinks (the hurricane was to die for) and then asked what we would like to eat. We were then informed as we started to place orders that over half of the menu was unavailable. They were out of Shrimp and oysters which meant that they couldn't make practically all of the items on the menu. I settled for Crawfish Etouffe, and while it was good I was told that the crawfish wasn't fresh. Would I go back? Yes...the overall experience was great. But I was disappointed in the menu options. I hope this doesn't happen again."

  • "We really enjoyed our first visit to Adele's Authentic Cajun Experience-RESERVATIONS are needed-otherwise you will sit at the bar - did not look like a bad experience but most of the tables in the small restaurant were reserved when we arrived. The wait staff was great - took care of us right away and checked in to make sure everything was to our liking - the Chef stopped by to introduce himself and made us feel welcome (as newcomers to GA this is a treat). As we were finishing up our meal, the restaurant was getting full and the noise level did increase. Loved the FOOD - will come back again- you have to try the Cajun Potato chips on the side menu - we loved them so much we ordered 2 side orders to GO-have never done that in a restaurant."
    Dined on 2/15/2014
  • "Food was good. Che and owner introduced himself. Our server was off her game that night. We had to keep flagging her down for service. AND she piled all of our courses on table at once. We had to send the entrée back as we were still on our appetizer. But, worth another try..as said food good."

  • "One thing is for certain, if you don't like Cajun cuisine then obviously this is not the place for you. However the staff in the kitchen clearly love what they do and this is reflected in their food. Based on food alone, Adele's is a solid 4 stars and a definite repeat featuring awesome dishes such as the Gumbo, Oysters, Alligator "bites" and Jambalaya. Although the food was excellent, the service felt slow at times and in the end forgot one of our deserts. Aside from that, I'm sure I will be returning in the future."
