The restaurant was quiet giving us
the opportunity to talk and catch up on 30 years of life. The food was perfect! The mimosas were just the right topper to a perfect Sunday brunch for two old friends to reconnecting! Excellent!"

Very unique choices and these
selections are large enough to fill you up without breaking the bank. The ravioli and croquetas were my favorites but the pumpkin soup is also a must-try. Looks like a fun place to get a drink too if you are in the neighborhood but not looking to eat dinner."

I proposed to my girlfriend on
this night. I put that in the comments when I made the reservation and boy did it seem like they heeded the comment. My waiter was very attentive and we even got a comped dessert. I was shocked. Talk about delivering. The set up was great inside and the environment and setting was awesome. I definitely recommend!"

Pros: GREAT FOOD! Great location.
Did I say great food? It was phenomenal. This is a great spot to take a date or have an anniversary at. Very intimate and you can share food. Cons: They had great food but be prepared for a heavy bill (it is Tapas). The four of us paid $170ish. It would have been a great experience but the waitress ignored us 1/2 the time even though there was only 6 other people in the restaurant. We haven't been back since."

Crowded tables. Understand the
reason to serve more diners. Food was very good. Enjoy tapas style. Ambience was lacking, noisy party in next room, as seen thru open adjoining windows of buildiing. These establishments are colonial buildings and should be considered in layout. But try the food."

Adela and the staff seem to
justvget better with age. The portions are getting bigger and the flavors continue to impress. The vibe here is awesome. Great dinner, fabulous wines, romantic atmosphere and genuine service. Love it."

This was our second visit. Dined
as a party of 2 on a Friday night. Easy to get last-min reservations for a weekend, which is appealing for those last-min decisions to dine out. Ordered 3 tapas + paella, which was perfect for 2 people (or at least 2 who wanted to save room for Pitango). Paella and fried artichokes were especially good. Service was gracious, if a bit spotty. Waited a long time after ordering our drinks (wine + cocktail), only to have the wrong cocktail arrive. Server 2x tried to deliver the wrong food to our table. Still, we'll keep this on our regular rotation."

I arrived with 3 companions at
5:30 on a Monday night. The restaurant was empty but eventually more trickled in by the time we left 2 hours later. Most of the food is Spanish small plates. We ordered chicken (Pollo y Higo), scallops, two potato dishes (Croquettes and Spicy Potato), artichokes, meatballs, and crabcakes. All were delicious. I especially recommend the artichokes. We ordered coffee for dessert but because of confusion in the kitchen received tea, and kept it since it was good. Overall service was friendly and so was the food, but prices were a bit up high for what you get. Total bill came to $73 for 4 people. Although none admitted it, we could have eaten a couple of more dishes to have satiated our cravings, though."

My wife and I enjoyed a
pre-theater dinner at Adela on a Saturday night. Started off a little rocky- the hostess did not have my OpenTable reservation (though they were able to seat us). We were put into a small (cozy) back room, which was fine, but the room was dominated by a large group (10 or so), so the room was loud. Would recommend avoiding seating a couple in a space like that in the future. Server was very friendly and quickly corrected a minor problem in the kitchen - the other table received some of our orders. Food was good to very good. The butternut-squash ravioli was to die for. Overall, a little uneven, but hope to visit again."

Enjoyed a great meal at Adela on
NYE! Food as always was fantastic - the scallops were amazing. Because of the holiday the place was unusually loud and we were seated next to a large, loud party making it hard to talk but that's to be expected on NYE!"

We are non-drinking vegetarians,
not exactly the target demographic for New Year's Eve. Adela treated us well, and had both the full menu and a prix fixe, which we appreciated. Adela's is cozy and romantic, and the vegetarian small plates were great."

Just moved to Fells Point. Ate
dinner two weeks ago with one son, and had a great meal. Then ate again there this past week by myself. Great again. My other son was in town for Thanksgiving, so took him there this weekend. Three for three...another great meal. Great, attractive crowd. Awesome bar staff (ate at the bar all three times) - attentive, professional, friendly, warm. I'm a big tapas fan, and I love Adela."

We treated ourselves to a night
out. We've done the small plate dinners in Annapolis, Alexandria and New York. This place had an excellent vibe, service was excellent, food was great , overall we were pleased."

What a find! Beautiful small
intimate restaurant. Attentive wait staff. Unique delicious Spanish cuisine. Love the small plates as we were able to try a lot. The salmon was cooked to perfection and I've become an expert on grilled calamari and it was the best I've ever had. They have a good wine selection with great recommendations if you're not sure how to navigate the Spanish selections. Definitely a must try Fells Point hot spot with lots of nice shopping nearby. Prices seemed in line with other comparable restaurants and with the small plates you have the opportunity to eat on a budget if need be. They offer valet but it was not necessary as we easily found street parking."

Great time! Went back to try their
new fall menu. I fell in love with the potato green onion soup! Our meal was so good, and we were impressed the chef came out to some tables to personally deliver food and ask if we were enjoying everything. A huge birthday party was being celebrated in the main area, so it wasn't a quiet night-but nearly everyone looked like a model-and they were fun and friendly! We finished up with a drink in the lounge. The dessert martinis the bartender suggested were de-lish! I think this is my new spot."

This was the last place I ever ate
with the love of my life (now ex... so sad) It will always have a special place in my heart. We came up for a weekend in Baltimore, drank moonshine in the hotel, and found this little gem. The neighbor is awesome cobblestone streets, lots of energy, just fanastic. The food here was even better! You can't go wrong."

Some carefully sound deaden foam
place on the ceiling in various spots would make the sound travel less. From our table we were able to hear conversations from tables 25 feet away perfectly clear."

i really enjoyed my early dinner
at Adela. it was a last minute dinner idea to celebrate my husband's birthday. I chose to sit outside to enjoy the weather and to people watch since it in the heart of Fells Point. My husband wasn't expecting the small plates but i think he was satisfied afterwards. we were able to have a little bit of this and a little bit of that and I LOVE that. he did order 2 plates of the scallops- tha's how good they were to him. We also had the white Sangria. We ordered a picther and it was delicious."

I enjoyed the dinner very much.
The scallops were outstanding, the crab was outstanding, though some in our party thought that too many items used and/or overused the white drizzly cheese sauce. Maybe the sauce should have been on the side. The ambiance was cool. Funky and classy at the same time. I would eat there again."

I love the food here, and consider
it one of my favorite restaurants. I often come here after watching soccer matches around the corner at a pub, and I consider this a great place for both lunch and dinner. Inside, there's a romantic ambiance in the side room, a nice open atmosphere at the bar, and a great back patio where you can sit outside but in a quiet setting. The back patio is a great place for dates! I chose to sit on the front sidewalk this time, and it was great. My friend and I enjoyed the people-watching and sat for a few hours. We had the Estrella beer, a fantastic light and fruity Spanish beer. Definitely worth a try! The sangria is superb, too."

We were there on a Friday night
for a 50th bday dinner. This was our 2nd time and had planned the dinner. We were sat & it took at least 15 minutes before someone came over & took a drink order. We were given menus & waited another 10+ minutes for our server. He asked what we would like to order. Did not tell us about tapas style dining or if there were any specials. It was 7:30-8:00pm so the happy hour crowd had left. The dining room is very small and the servers were not frazzled or busy. No reason for the delay. The food was good, but not good enough to overcome this issue."

We were in Baltimore for a visit
and took the water taxi over to Fells Point. While it rained and rained the entire time, we did manage to find this wonderful restaurant amid the hub bub of this very energetic area. The food was very good (small plates) but the service (including the bar staff) were warm and friendly and very inviting - the kind of people that make you want to come back to a place. And we will. We sampled a little of everything but the highlight was the scallops. I'd definitely recommend them."

We were greeted by a beautiful
smiling hostess, didn't feel rushed,& our server wasn't a car salesman. The suggestions were genuine, and spot on! The veggie hummus was delicious, the crabcakes were all crabmeat, and the scallops to die for! The portion sizes are much larger than that of other tapas restaurants, and we left full. We had a perfectly crafted vodka gimlet, and negroni. The wine list was expansive and true to the Spanish spirit. There's absolutely nothing like this around town. A DJ started playing, so we decided to cocktail a bit longer and really enjoyed the vibe as the restaurant changed into a hip cocktail lounge! I almost thought I was back in DC at one of the posh lounges on NW Connecticut. Great time! We'll be back!"

A very mixed experience. The food
varied from good to exceptional. All employees were friendly and helpful. The room in which we dined was charming. However ... it took two and one half hours for us to complete dinner, with the first appetizer not arriving for forty minutes. Other dishes were forgotten until we reminded our server. The kitchen seems small for the number of diners. Someone to greet diners and assign a table is needed. There was an air of disorganization, at least that night. That said, we may try it again. The food was very interesting and everyone was very nice. We received complementary drinks and an entree as our server compensated for the erratic service. Final note: the rest of the restaurant was noisy."

stay-cation in Baltimore. We chose Adela for dinner as neither of us had ever bee. What a wonderful surprise - for dinner we chose several small plates and had plenty to eat. Our server was fabulous!!!"

The food was very nice. My
boyfriend and I love tapas and these serving sizes are made to share. Highly recommend the steak Adela. The veggie flatbread was basic but okay. Outside seating provides interesting people watching when the weather is nice. Lighting was adequate after the sun goes down. The only downfall to Adela was the service. The servers were unobtrusive and quick. But the waiter was bored and sour, barely looked at us while taking our orders."

Food was good but I did not have a
server for the whole 2 hours I was there. The hostess waited on us and we felt unattended to. Food runners go from table to table asking where the food belongs to so another table may get your food even if you ordered it first. Great food but service was severely lacking. We only spent 2 hours there because there was no server to give us our check."

We arrived early for the Big Event
and were invited inside by the lovely host (in spite of his being slightly slowed-down by a walking cast) as he arranged for additional umbrellas for sidewalk seating. Once seated outside, we were delighted to have Omar as our server, having enjoyed his service on our inaugural visit to Tapas Adela over a year ago. The white wine sangria was garnished with pear cubes and delicious; the lunch and brunch entrees were piping-hot; and extra utensils allowed us to share an array of desserts. Our family LOVES Tapas Adela for special events and I suspect that our daughter in Brewers Hill will enjoy leaving the convenience of O'Donnell Square for the great of Tapas Adela!"

Was okay...I am more of a great
burger person, but this was interesting. My husband liked it more than I did. Was neat for something different. If you like to experiment with food or if you like food adventures, this is a place for you. Great location and neat building and interior. That part I loved!"

Decided to try Adela for
restaurant week. While the menu had a great variety of choices, the dining experience overall was a disappointment. My friend and I were seated outside in the courtyard, which was actually okay and not too hot, but once the sun went down it was so dark we could hardly even see our food. We had received and finished our first course before our drinks ever arrived. Our waiter then informed us that our "dessert would be out right away," when we hadn't even received our second course. Some of our food was really delicious, but other items were just average. Overall, the service was atrocious and I will not be returning to Adela in the future."
