  • "I would definitely say Adela has the best tapas in Baltimore, especially if you like seafood. My biggest peeve with tapas restaurants is that you pay $10 for a tiny portion, but that is NOT the case at Adela. The portions are a great size (the crabcake dish had three medium sized cakes). I also loved the scallops and brussel sprouts dish - the scallops were massive and super flavorful. We also got the paella, which was loaded with fresh seafood - none of it was that fake or frozen stuff that other places serve. Can't wait to return and try the sparkling sangria - other tables were raving about it, but we had already ordered the white sangria (also delicious)."

  • "We had a wonderful lunch here on Sunday, everything was wonderful. The only minor negative for me was the paella - while it was delicious, the portion size for $22.95 was teeny. We had four other things, all were great and of course, they always have great wine and beer. And the neighborhood is so much fun. Omar was our server - he is always excellent!"

The interior design was vintage/edgy. The wine selection was great. The food was creative and well done. Our waiter went out his way to make the birthday boy feel special."

  • "I proposed to my girlfriend on this night. I put that in the comments when I made the reservation and boy did it seem like they heeded the comment. My waiter was very attentive and we even got a comped dessert. I was shocked. Talk about delivering. The set up was great inside and the environment and setting was awesome. I definitely recommend!"

  • "Pros: GREAT FOOD! Great location. Did I say great food? It was phenomenal. This is a great spot to take a date or have an anniversary at. Very intimate and you can share food. Cons: They had great food but be prepared for a heavy bill (it is Tapas). The four of us paid $170ish. It would have been a great experience but the waitress ignored us 1/2 the time even though there was only 6 other people in the restaurant. We haven't been back since."

Ambience was lacking, noisy party in next room, as seen thru open adjoining windows of buildiing. These establishments are colonial buildings and should be considered in layout. But try the food."

  • "This was our second visit. Dined as a party of 2 on a Friday night. Easy to get last-min reservations for a weekend, which is appealing for those last-min decisions to dine out. Ordered 3 tapas + paella, which was perfect for 2 people (or at least 2 who wanted to save room for Pitango). Paella and fried artichokes were especially good. Service was gracious, if a bit spotty. Waited a long time after ordering our drinks (wine + cocktail), only to have the wrong cocktail arrive. Server 2x tried to deliver the wrong food to our table. Still, we'll keep this on our regular rotation."

  • "I arrived with 3 companions at 5:30 on a Monday night. The restaurant was empty but eventually more trickled in by the time we left 2 hours later. Most of the food is Spanish small plates. We ordered chicken (Pollo y Higo), scallops, two potato dishes (Croquettes and Spicy Potato), artichokes, meatballs, and crabcakes. All were delicious. I especially recommend the artichokes. We ordered coffee for dessert but because of confusion in the kitchen received tea, and kept it since it was good. Overall service was friendly and so was the food, but prices were a bit up high for what you get. Total bill came to $73 for 4 people. Although none admitted it, we could have eaten a couple of more dishes to have satiated our cravings, though."

  • "My wife and I enjoyed a pre-theater dinner at Adela on a Saturday night. Started off a little rocky- the hostess did not have my OpenTable reservation (though they were able to seat us). We were put into a small (cozy) back room, which was fine, but the room was dominated by a large group (10 or so), so the room was loud. Would recommend avoiding seating a couple in a space like that in the future. Server was very friendly and quickly corrected a minor problem in the kitchen - the other table received some of our orders. Food was good to very good. The butternut-squash ravioli was to die for. Overall, a little uneven, but hope to visit again."

  • "Enjoyed a great meal at Adela on NYE! Food as always was fantastic - the scallops were amazing. Because of the holiday the place was unusually loud and we were seated next to a large, loud party making it hard to talk but that's to be expected on NYE!"

  • "Just moved to Fells Point. Ate dinner two weeks ago with one son, and had a great meal. Then ate again there this past week by myself. Great again. My other son was in town for Thanksgiving, so took him there this weekend. Three for three...another great meal. Great, attractive crowd. Awesome bar staff (ate at the bar all three times) - attentive, professional, friendly, warm. I'm a big tapas fan, and I love Adela."

  • "What a find! Beautiful small intimate restaurant. Attentive wait staff. Unique delicious Spanish cuisine. Love the small plates as we were able to try a lot. The salmon was cooked to perfection and I've become an expert on grilled calamari and it was the best I've ever had. They have a good wine selection with great recommendations if you're not sure how to navigate the Spanish selections. Definitely a must try Fells Point hot spot with lots of nice shopping nearby. Prices seemed in line with other comparable restaurants and with the small plates you have the opportunity to eat on a budget if need be. They offer valet but it was not necessary as we easily found street parking."

  • "Great time! Went back to try their new fall menu. I fell in love with the potato green onion soup! Our meal was so good, and we were impressed the chef came out to some tables to personally deliver food and ask if we were enjoying everything. A huge birthday party was being celebrated in the main area, so it wasn't a quiet night-but nearly everyone looked like a model-and they were fun and friendly! We finished up with a drink in the lounge. The dessert martinis the bartender suggested were de-lish! I think this is my new spot."

We came up for a weekend in Baltimore, drank moonshine in the hotel, and found this little gem. The neighbor is awesome cobblestone streets, lots of energy, just fanastic.   • "i really enjoyed my early dinner at Adela. it was a last minute dinner idea to celebrate my husband's birthday. I chose to sit outside to enjoy the weather and to people watch since it in the heart of Fells Point. My husband wasn't expecting the small plates but i think he was satisfied afterwards. we were able to have a little bit of this and a little bit of that and I LOVE that. he did order 2 plates of the scallops- tha's how good they were to him. We also had the white Sangria. We ordered a picther and it was delicious."

  • "I enjoyed the dinner very much. The scallops were outstanding, the crab was outstanding, though some in our party thought that too many items used and/or overused the white drizzly cheese sauce. Maybe the sauce should have been on the side. The ambiance was cool. Funky and classy at the same time. I would eat there again."

  • "I love the food here, and consider it one of my favorite restaurants. I often come here after watching soccer matches around the corner at a pub, and I consider this a great place for both lunch and dinner. Inside, there's a romantic ambiance in the side room, a nice open atmosphere at the bar, and a great back patio where you can sit outside but in a quiet setting. The back patio is a great place for dates! I chose to sit on the front sidewalk this time, and it was great. My friend and I enjoyed the people-watching and sat for a few hours. We had the Estrella beer, a fantastic light and fruity Spanish beer. Definitely worth a try! The sangria is superb, too."

  • "Did Restaurant Week menu. Plenty of choices which were very tasty. Unfortunately a little too humid to sit in courtyard. Only complaint - despite asking twice to make sure we had some time/rest between the four first course and four second course plates, no sooner had the first four been put on the table when the next three arrived. So they took them back and brought them later"
