Adam's American Mediterranean Restaurant and Piano BarAwesome!!We took a group of 6 to Adams to celebrate Father's Day and absolutely loved it! Our waiter was very knowledgable and the food was wonderful. I would definitely recommend the she-crab soup and filet. The atmosphere was nice and the pianist was very good. He played a wide range of music. It is not a quiet restaurant but the noise level was comfortable and we were still able to carry on a conversation without screaming at each other. In looking for a spot for an anniversary dinner, I took a look at the menu and saw some items my wife would enjoy so I booked it. Wednesday is not a night you would need a reservation but they greeted me and sat us at a pre-arranged table including the flowers I ordered. We had great service, great food, seafood platter and the pork tenderloin, good starter with the Crab Cakes, and good desserts with the Creme Brulee and the chocolate mousse. The chef and owner, Adam, there on his night off, came by to check on things, saw him assisting in the kitchen, and later came by to meet us.

Pianist was wonderful kept audience engaged (but not at all overbearing) and took song request. Mixed up the style, some romantic music, some 70's 80's 90's mixes, etc. you can sit at the piano to enjoy the music and drink. Hicham, our favorite chef, prepared an exquisite tenderloin sans sauces. He vowed it would be juicy throughout, and it was down to the last morsel! Tender and flavorful, there are few times you will find this steak to be so wonderful - but Hicham does it daily.
We can't drive over that often, but when we do, we find the finest restaurant in Georgia, if not the entire southeast. As we left a half full and vibrant Adam's, we passed the totally empty Sperata, a place that is overpriced and over lauded. As if this weren't good enough, we finished the evening at the Speakeasy downstairs listening and dancing the night away with one of the best bands I've ever heard!! My 8 oz. filet was the best beef I've had in ages though I did feel it was salt seasoned a bit on the heavy side. The spicy shrimp dish served my guest was wonderful as well.
The only negatvie to the restaurant is the piano playing is too loud and interferes with conversation despite the fact we were seated far from the piano, requested when asked by the hostess as to our choice of seating.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat first visitRecently moved to the area. They had issuesGreat place. They had issues with their wine list. Advertised a brand as a "Reserve" for $129/bottle and what came to our table was not reserve and when I checked it out on my iphone, the retail price was around $20/bottle. Watch out for this. They really need to review what they are getting in from their wine supplier and fix their menu. This was really a great place though and I would go back. And with "fine" dining, you'd really like to see the proper wine glass for the wine you select. OK, maybe I am a wine snob. LOL4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMA new discovery for us. Great!!Incredible food experience. Our second time there in 30 days. Took friends and out of town guests both times. That's 8 meals, and 100 % A+ delivery. I bad the opportunity to speak with the chef. He is passionate about purchasing and delivering quality. Great blend of seafood, beef, lamb, and interesting specials.
