We made the reservations on OpenTable about a week ahead of time - I called that day to confirm and all was fine. We arrived on time and were seated right away. The wine was great (we order a bottle of Moscato). The bread that came out was some of the best bread we have ever had in Florida - it reminded us of bread we have had in NY/NJ years ago. Some of us had seafood, some had steak - and everything was great! 2 of us had the Koba Filet - it was awesome - one of the best steaks we have ever had! On this night we did not order desert, as we were going back to the house to celebrate a birthday - but in the past we have had the deserts here and they never fail to impress!6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMDelightful outdoor venueLast week we dined outdoors in the evening. It was lovely. The food was outstanding and our waiter Danny took great care of us. The hot grilled bread was fresh and delicious. Calamari was excellent. Not greasy or chewy. Lightly floured, flash fried. This place offers both rustic Southern and fine Northern. Mom ordered the Frutta di Mare which was plenty for one person. Hubby ordered veal marsala and said sauce was very tasty. Sausage and broccoli rabe was perfect...garlic was sweet, rabe like spinach, no bitterness at all. Table was too close to kitchen doors, so a little bit too much traffic, but the food quality and service made up for that. We ended our meal with ricotta cheesecake and cappuccino. Lauderdale area on vacation and happened to run across this restaurant on Open Table. We were glad we did! This restaurant was fantastic in every way! We were seated outside overlooking the water. The waiter was very attentive. The food was outstanding! I would recommend any of the restaurant favorites denoted on the menu. The prices were very reasonable.
