We enjoyed the food, which was excellent, and overall experience (lively atmosphere, with music) on three different occasions, twice in one week. This time, on our fourth visit (3/29), the food was not served hot, the Caesar salad was not as fresh and crisp as it should have been. In short,the food was ordinary, and not nearly as good as it had been on the other visits. I would give it another try, since hopefully, it was just an off night.

heard a lot about this place at the condo we were staying at and we were pleasantly surprised that is was as good even better than we expected, this is a new hot spot for us! bonus for us is we dined with the kids 6 and 10 and they were treated with the up most respect!

Although we received very good service, we were disappointed in our meals. We had a decent chianti for $45, about 2,5x retail. The Caesar salad & bread were good. Both entrees were disappointing. I had linguine with seafood; it was dreadful. The mussels were huge & did not smell fresh; so, I didn't eat then. The calamari looked like it came from a giant squid; so, I didn't eat it either; and my whole bowl was just a bowl of this giant offensive looking calamari. My husband ordered spaghetti with bolognese sauce. His spaghetti was mushy & there wasn't any meat in the bolognese sauce. He did order a side order of very fine sausage. If this was our first trip to Acquo, we would never return. Hopefully, it was just an off night.

They had a drinkable, featured cabenet @ $29 that retails for only $10. Restaurants should never charge triple retail for wine. The Caesar salad is outstanding. My husband ordered clams on the half shell but was served baked clams....instead of an apology, he was told: these are excellent (which they were), but being glib is not the way to handle a mistake. My pasta dish (sausage and brocoli rabe) was very good; my husband's veal parmesan was very average and his side dish of pasta mediocre. The bread at Acquo is always deliious. We also asked to be seatd in the NORTH side, but were seated on the South side. On this occasion, Acquo was not on top of their game. The valet is the best in South Florida....
