The food was really delicious and the dishes were quite different than most Mexican restaurants. The service was excellent. My only (small) issue was that the tequila was extremely expensive.

Our waiter was great and the food was good but they seemed very reluctant to seat us. There were very few in the restaurant when we arrived and a server was standing chatting with a patron and paid no attention to us. Minutes went by before she reluctantly came over and seated us. Too bad. We are now hesitant to go back. Don't know if if recommend it to friends. Maybe it was just a bad night.

Acitron Cocina Mexicana has yet to disappoint. We arrived late, at a time when our server was visibly weary after a long shift, but she took our orders with good cheer and made sure we were content at all times. And the cerviche, as always, was delicious.

Acitron is a great Mexican restaurant. The food is authentically and lovingly prepared. The Mole is fabulous, really authentic. Their Cochinita Pibil is tender, juicy, and totally delicious. The guacamole appetizer is the best. They have a great bar menu, a wide variety if margaritas, especially a Mezcal based margarita. Yum. Even the desserts are fabulous. Caramel flan. Chocolate tamale with vanilla ice cream. Oh my. Great staff, comfortable seating, nice, casual ambience.

The food was very good "upscale" Mexican, and the service was truly outstanding - friendly, efficient, attentive. The space is tight and the Friday night crowd was lively, but they accommodated everyone from date-night couples to families with young kids to the table of guys who wanted good margaritas while watching the Red Sox game. Overall it was a lovely experience!

We enjoyed a 3-course dinner at Acitron Cocina Mexicana on the dinner and a show program with the Regent Theater. The restaurant was quite flexible in what we could order; we were not limited to a smaller menu. The food and service were all very good. Some of the available items were different than we've seen in other Mexican restaurants. Food was very fresh and tasty.

We've been to Acitron 4 or 5 times and have always enjoyed it. The people are warm and friendly, the margaritas are excellent (each of us had a different kind and tasted each other's), and the food is delicious. Love the fish tacos! One of the sides was a very tasty grilled corn on the cob -- wonderful addition to the menu. Definitely recommend it.

Fun and interesting menu: portions big enough for two people and great sangria to boot. The ceviche was excelent the appetizer tacos were really delicious and the crepes stuffed with poblano pepper strips and covered in green pipian mole were a ReAl treat. I'll be back for more. Added plus was our server, a Salma Hayek lookalike and sweet as she was knowledgeable

This place was simply incredible. The margaritas are a showcase for sure. However, the food is what had us. My wife and I had a bit of everything. The corn on the cob is not the corn on the cob you know, this one's all spiced up and with cheese. A trio of sopes with different toppings was perfect for people who can't make up their mind AND who love powerful flavors contrasted. The guacamole was nothing out of the ordinary, but was just great. Some kind of steak rubbed with adobo. It was all simply amazing, and what was surprising was how reasonably priced it was!

This visit to Acitron was our second time dining there. The food was excellent on our first visit but this time we were extremely disappointed. The mole sauce lacked flavor, the chicken did not taste right, and the rice seemed dry, not fresh. We both felt that the food was lackluster.

Thought we'd be a bit adventurous and try something new: fried avocado appetizer. Batter not tasty and not something I'd order again. Sopas were pretty good, tho. Entrees: chile verde ala Baabs was very moist, well seasoned and good, whereas cochinita pibil was extremely dry...almost like a mound of pork cardboard....very disappointing. Sangria was ok...partner would've liked added splash of liquor or fruit juice to soften rough taste of red wine.

Amidst all the many restaurants in down town Arlington, Acitron Cocina is a stand out. The food is always good, and the menu interesting. I had salmon and it was cooked to perfection with a very nice sauce, not too saucy, just right. My friend had the shrimp with cilantro sauce, which was a real treat. The margaritas hit the spot. The service was fine, especially considering it was quite busy for early on a Saturday night.
