The people are warm and friendly, the margaritas are excellent (each of us had a different kind and tasted each other's), and the food is delicious. Love the fish tacos! One of the sides was a very tasty grilled corn on the cob -- wonderful addition to the menu. Definitely recommend it."

The ceviche was excelent the appetizer tacos were really delicious and the crepes stuffed with poblano pepper strips and covered in green pipian mole were a ReAl treat. I'll be back for more.   • "Thought we'd be a bit adventurous and try something new: fried avocado appetizer. Batter not tasty and not something I'd order again. Sopas were pretty good, tho. Entrees: chile verde ala Baabs was very moist, well seasoned and good, whereas cochinita pibil was extremely dry...almost like a mound of pork cardboard....very disappointing. Sangria was ok...partner would've liked added splash of liquor or fruit juice to soften rough taste of red wine."

I had salmon and it was cooked to perfection with a very nice sauce, not too saucy, just right. My friend had the shrimp with cilantro sauce, which was a real treat. The margaritas hit the spot. The service was fine, especially considering it was quite busy for early on a Saturday night."

  • "We had high hopes for Acitron--great write ups and an interesting menu. So few really good and authentic Mexican restaurants left. Soem items were very good. We loved the roasted corn on the cob and the excellent quesadillas. But the salsa, though fresh, was a little tame, and the freshly made guacamole, though we asked for it spicy, was also bland. As main coursesd we had the steak fajitas (good), the chicken mole (shredded chicken in a passable mole poblano sauce but nowehre near as tasty as the old Forest Cafe's, and a very disappointing enchiladas verde--way too sweet. We were looking forward to a greart experience, but we probably won't go back."

Do not recommend having hostess describe fajitas "in case our server does not" in great detail (we all know what fajitas are by now), only to have the server arrive a moment later and have to politely listen while he re-describes what fajitas are all over again. So no more doing that and you'll be A-OK!"

  • "Our party waited a bit longer than ideal to be seated for a 7:30 reservation - a previous large party lingered. We found out why. Our server was friendly & informative. Our margaritas & sangria were great. Salsa, guacamole & home-made chips were savored by all. Question of whether the "Chile Verde A La Baabs" would be too hot, or cilantro-heavy, brought a generous sample of the dish from our server. (it was "just right"). Mole Poblano, (chicken in traditional chocolate-infused mole sauce), Camarones Con Salsa Cilantro, & Carne Adobada were enjoyed by all (much delighted sampling from others' plates). For dessert, "Flan Del Dia", (flan of the day), and "Tamal De Chocolate", provoked much "Mmm" & "Oooh" reaction. We certainly plan to return!"

  • "Food was not Tex-Mex, but had many touches from Puebla and elsewhere. There were six of us, we had several appetizers which we shared, ceviche was unexpectedly good, veggie enchiladas were exceptional, guacamole, salsa, etc. all excellent. Two of the six main dishes were a bit too heavy (Pulled Pork Pibil) and (Veggie Crepas), so take out bags were needed. Veggie stuffed peppers were extra good, as was corn on the cob."

Gets crowded, but the service is very good so tables turnover at a reasonable speed.   • "We were very impressed with the appetizers. I had the corn, which was fabulous, slightly cheesy, tangy, it said chipotle, but I didn't taste it-wish I could've. My Husband had a quesadilla like appetizer, he said it was delicious. For entres, I had Chiles Rellenos--Rich sauce, delicious but needed heat, not spicy at all. My husband had something similar with meat and a white sauce that was very bland, he was disappointed. Overall, we agreed that the dishes needed some spice. No pepper at all could be discerned in our dishes. The tres leches dessert was fabulous! We also had a chocolate log thing with a cinnamon chocolate sauce and this amazing ice cream. the chocolate cake part was uneventful, but the ice cream was outstanding!"

  • "This small restaurant in Arlington Center serves excellent traditional Mexican food that is extremely well prepared and reasonably light. We have been twice and both times were impressed with the food. There are a lot of tables in a small place and they fill up pretty fast. The marguerites are good, however, and you soon forget the cvrowd as the food makes you happy. Parking can be a challenge but the reward is worth the hassle."

  • "Acitron is a step up from typical American Tex-Mex, and has some more authentic dishes. However, they tend to over-salt many dishes so that other spices are overpowered. While the cilantro shrimp dish was superior to most, their take on tamales was one of the least flavorful I have had. Their margaritas are definitely superior to most you will have elsewhere--and the jalapeño margarita gives a delightful "zing""
