It was an incredibly decadent meal, but the seasonal menu and careful preparations made Accords the culinary highlight of our trip to Montreal. Toutefois, ma compagne a été déçu de son accord vin et repas car avec une côte de boeuf elle aurait souhaité un vin ayant plus de caractère. Bistro sympa et parfait pour le lunch ou en soirée. La terrasse semble très intéressante mais, il pleuvait et c'était trop frais dehors lors de notre visite. Most of the patrons in the evening are people who have worked late and eat and run after work, or business persons from out of town. We were the exception and loved everything about Accords.
The decor is warm and clubby with stone walls and lots of wood and wine bottles in glass cabinets. Lighting is wonderful and romantic.
Food presentation was terrific and so was the food. From the fresh oysters , the smoked sturgeon with it's unusual accompaniments, the delicious magret de canard and grilled octopus, all surpassed our expectations.
