Acacia real food & cocktailsThe restaurant graciouslyThe restaurant graciously accommodated my request for a window with a view seat as we were celebrating a birthday. They also treated the birthday boy with a complimentary dessert!!6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMSubstitutesI had looked at Menu on line and was looking forward to a dish. It was not on the actual Menu. I selected the Tasting menu but one of my favorites was sold out. I didn't like the substitute as well. The "Tastes" I had were extraordinary with that one exception. The service was great and the waiter recommended a wine that we loved.6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of Tucson's BestOur visit to Acacia was nothing short of perfect. On arrival we were immediately taken to our table on which menus were already laid out. Beverage orders were taken immediately and water and bread brought to the table. Our waiter explained the specials to us and gave us time to look at the interesting and varied menu. Drinks arrived in short order and were made to perfection. Our food was prepared expertly and presented beautifully. We could find nothing to complain about, and we are not easy to please. Service was supurb. Acacia will be one of our standbys from now on.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMDining experienceOne of the best restaurants we have found in AZ in the past 40 years!5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful mealOne of the most delicious meals we've had in quite some time. Everything was spot on. If you get a table by the window, as we did, there is a very nice view of the city of Tucson, particularly at night. It was a little bit loud with the happy hour revelers but still a great experience overall.5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMSuperbSome people get sort of stuck on a "column", give all 5's or all 1's. I don't give all 5's lightly. Acacia is nothing short of superb in every way. The service was perfect; the waitress (PI? server?) paid exactly the amount of attention to us that we wanted - didn't ignore us, didn't hover. She gave us a detailed description of the specials - how she managed to memorize it all amazed me. The food was unparalleled; presentation is easy enough, but the pretty arrangement was made up of food that's quite simply out of this world. End with the pineapple cake - run it off tomorrow!
My date and I had such a wonderful time that we accidentally stayed a half hour past closing, and they quite politely let us relax and figure it out on our own!5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMUnbelievable ServiceA friend and I had a lovely lunch at Acacia. The food was very good, but what I want to commend is the excellent service we received! Really, the staff was patient to take our order, provided us with excellent seating, and were attentive to our needs.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMOur table of 4 took advantageOur table of 4 took advantage of a 3 course special for $30. Two at our table had the salmon & said it was the best they ever had. My husband had the pork chop and thought it was very good & I had the short ribs which were also delicious. Our appetizers and desserts were also great. The only thing we'd suggest changing is the balsamic vinegar that came with the bread course which was more vinegary than most balsamics and distracted from the really good bread.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent Dinner at AcaciaFood, Service and Ambiance were all excellent.
Tasting menu with wine pairings was exceptional.5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMSuper Dining in the FoothillsMy wife and I had a wonderful dining experience on Mother's Day...Everything was super!! We definitely will be back.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMFarm to Table Concept in TucsonAcacia serves locally sourced foods as much as possible with many organic ingredients. Both vegetarians and carnivores will find something delicious on their menu. They have a nice wine list and an extensive martini selection. The service is attentive, but not overbearing and servers are knowledgeable about the methods of preparation, which is great for those of us who wish to avoid such things as animal based soup stock or gluten. Acacia offers a happy hour and reduced price wine days, too! It has a great view of the city of Tucson and the mountains from it's perch in the Tucson foothills.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat venue for special nightCelebrated a special birthday, and the food and service were excellent. The staff went out of their way to make our evening notable. We did not mention the birthday until later, so they were not just responding to that situation. We love the food, the presentation, and they have one of the best views of Tucson in town!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was great, view of cityFood was great, view of city beautiful, server was a sweet person!5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat dumplings and moreEverything about Acacia is great. Service was impeccable. Acacia also has the best happy hour in town!3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMWhat a Fantastic Place! WeWhat a Fantastic Place! We met out of town friends for sunday breakfast and the meal was perfect, wait staff attentive and personable. The view was stunning. The resturant is up a serious flight of stairs (hence the view) but worth the exercise. Very clean, decorative and beautifully maintained. Will go back again.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMOur meals were delicious. Our meals were delicious. I had the fish special which was a Mexican sea bass and my husband had the steak delmonico. Our waitress was very personable.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMAbove average food and excellentAbove average food and excellent service. A truly wonderful dining experience3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful food; great service;Wonderful food; great service; generally way too noisy for adults who wish to have a reasonable conversation2/27/2013 12:00:00 AMThe steak, sea bass, and troutThe steak, sea bass, and trout entrees were excellent, as was the chicken and vegetable dumpling appetizer and the butterscotch creme brûlée. The service was friendly and capable but a bit disorganized. The place was extremely busy which may have contributed to this. We requested a window table and this was honored graciously. Acacia remains one of the top places to dine in Tucson.2/21/2013 12:00:00 AMUshering in 2013 with taste & styleWe were more than pleasantly surprised at how great everything was, especially considering that it was New Year's Eve, which can be a time when things can be frenetic at most restaurants.12/31/2012 12:00:00 AM
