Acacia of LawrencevilleFABULOUS DINNER, BUT WAY TOO NOISYOUR FAMILY (A PARTY OF 5) CELEBRATED MOTHERS' DAY ON SATURDAY NIGHT (ONLY TIME WE COULD ALL GET TOGETHER). THE FOOD WAS THE BEST THIS SIDE OF THE HUDSON RIVER, BUT AT TIMES WE HAD TO SHOUT TO BE HEARD ABOVE THE DIN. SOMETIMES, EVEN OUR SHOUTING COULDN'T BE HEARD AROUND OUR TABLE FOR 5. IT WAS THAT LOUD. OUR WAITRESS WAS TERRIFIC. EXCELLENT SERVICE AND A GREAT PERSONALITY AND ATTITUDE.
I WOULD RETURN JUST FOR THE FOOD AND SUFFER THROUGH THE NOISE. NOTE THIS IS A BYO.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMWe are an older couple whoWe are an older couple who prize the quiet dining experience along with imaginative
cooking. Acasia fills both bills wonderfully well. It is the perfect place to take family and out-of-town visitors where you can enjoy an excellent, eclectic meal, elegantly served, in an atmosphere where one can actually TALK to one another.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMAcacia is well worth visiting! The place is clean and has great abviance. Food is excellent with some real exciting choices! Service was great and staff is very friendly!4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMfantastic food in a quiet neighborhGreat food! BYOB is an added bonus. We had the lamb and boar - both were flawless and our plates were almost licked clean. The chocolate mousse cap dessert was so good that I wish I just ate three of those for dinner! It was a quiet Friday night venue on Main St in Lawrenceville. I'd imagine that as the weather warms up, more people will show to eat on the outdoor patio. Prices are about $30/35 for an entree so its pricey, but you make it back with the BYOB. Nice date night spot.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AM
