"
A seriously ambitious and creative menu of items that I've either never seen before or never seen done in just this way. Traditional Turkish dishes get a new twist, as do American standard offerings, and everything is beautifully presented. The patio dining is wonderful, and there's even good street parking nearby.

Our recent visit to Acacia was our second to the restaurant. While we preferred the summer menu (our first visit), the food was still very good. There is no kids' menu, per say, but, both times we had our sons with us (7 and 8 yrs old), and the server offered to to have simple pasta dishes prepared for them both times. The menu itself is Mediterranean and is geared more towards small, tapas-like servings than traditional entrees. The wine list is very good and the bartender prepared an excellent margarita for my husband. The chef even came out to chat with us, which we thought was a nice touch. Low key, casual, good food and drinks. Very good overall experience. Looking forward to dining outside in the warmer weather.

The menu is always interesting and the staff knows the menu. I had a seafood risotto that was very good. My only problem with this restaurant is the wine list could use some improvement. Although it is solid and reasonably priced, I'd like to see some special wines.

Although the new chef is very personable, I'm sad to say that the food has gone downhill. The food in several dishes we ordered was over salted and a side dish of an onion tart was so tough it was almost impossible to cut into.
