We were looking forward to some great corned beef sandwiches. The corned beef was so lean it had little flavor and was almost too dry to eat. Very disappointing. The matzo ball soup was great. Next time, we'll ask that they don't make the corned beef so lean.

our server was completing his final day, and it showed in attitude towards meeting our needs. e g, my tongue sandwich was served cold - when I preferred hot but he never asked. That made the meat tough. When I had the 2nd half at home I steamed it first and the meat was tender. We were 3 couples - he could have asked how we wanted the bill to be presented - 3 separate or all on one. Two of the 3 couples had coupons (one a $20 checque from Open Table) and when he applied the 2 coupons each couple then had a 1/3 share of the total cost rather than what would be appropriate to that couple's orders (the orders were unequal in cost). We'll give Abe's a 2nd try to see if it simply was an off night due to the server's disinterest or ineptitude.
