  • "We were brought to the back room of the restaurant where the energy and ambience are not as nice, but we decided it shouldn't matter - we were celebrating my husband's birthday. Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience due to the food not being cooked as requested, and the loud, foul language being used by guests seated at a table next to us, and the unwillingness of management to address the issue to correct the situation. All other patrons in the room were also uncomfortable; some of the wait staff seemed to enjoy the loud and inappropriate comments being made. At no time did the Manager intervene-I called him to our table at the end of our meal to express our disappointment. I doubt we'll ever return..."

  • "First off, Gee, our host for the night, made the dining experience that much better. He was chatty, in a good way, engaged in conversation when we asked, and completely knowledgeable of the best of the food. My wine snob boyfriend, which has proved to be a fantastic find, was impressed with the wine list. My mom, 85 yrs. old, and I shared a steak and still took a lot home. I highly recommend the restaurant for special occasions, as the prices are pricey!"

  • "Our first time at this steakhouse and it was a big disappointment. The prime rib was tough. The waiter brought another piece that was better but still not tender. The bone in rib eye was flavorful but also not tender though not as tough as the prime rib. The salmon was good, the side dishes were excellent, and the service was very good. If you are spending close to $50 for a steak there are much better restaurant choices in Boca."

  • "Love this place. Brunch however fell short. Blueberry pancakes were very heavy and tasteless. Traditional bacon and eggs lousy too. Eggs overbooked twice and 2 slices of bacon for $14. A&L great for dinner. Lunch is also great. As far as Sunday brunch there's all kind of lunch items, but stay away from breakfast! Would not do brunch again. Worse than a &5 breakfast at any local coffee shop."

  • "The steak was excellent as well as my fish but we also asked for the swordfish which they were out if. The tried to accommodate with a swordfish chop but it did affect the experience. The portions were more than enough. The staff was excellent and knowledgeable about the food, pairings and recommendations. Thank you for making our business dinner a success!"

  • "My husband and I were looking for some place different to go to for lunch and thought Abe & Louie. We had a superb lunch. The hamburger was a 12 on a scale from 1-10. The New Orleans split pea soup was amazing and so was my husband's onion soup. Of couse, we had dessert and really enjoye the peach cobbler. It was exceptional. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Staff was very attentive and very accomodating. Tuey, (not sure of the spelling), was also very accomodating and came to our table and made us feel very special. This lunch was amazing and gave us some time to be together. We, too, own a restaurant and this was everything and more that we look for when dining out. Pat"

  • "The Porterhourse for 2 we shared on Valentine's Day was likely the best steak I've had in recent years in South Florida: not only incredibly delicious and cooked to perfection, but actually a beautiful looking cut of steak as well. Service at the front was very attentive given the Valentine's Day rush, and while the waiter could have been slightly more attentive (we had to refill our wine classes on our own a couple times), I"ll give him the benefit of the doubt that he was a bit frazzled due to the large crowd. Looking forward to coming back soon."

  • "This was our first time to this restaurant and it didn't disappoint! We made a reservation one week in advance and the restaurant stayed in touch with us via email about out reservation. Our waiter was attentive and offered suggestions for wine as well as appetizers & entrees. We had filet mignon with sides of creamed spinach and au gratin potatoes. For dessert we shared cheesecake & coffee. Everything was outstanding! The steaks were cooked to perfection, the sides were tasty and the cheesecake was delicious and tasted "homemade". We will definitely return!"

  • "What a fantastic birthday celebration we had at Abe and Louie's. Our server James Lee, was very patient with our crazy group. We stuffed ourselves with a beautiful crab cake, and shrimp cocktail appetizer, clams on the half shell and crab bisque. Move on to the fabulous salads. The bone in ribs eye, and porterhouse steaks were finger licking great. I loved my swordfish, while the shrimp and scallop combo diner was smiling with every mouth full. My finicky daughter ate every last grain of her fillet with the green peppercorn sauce. As usual we ordered too many sides, but we did our best to consume every last scrap. Coffee was fresh hot pressed and strong. Forgot to mention. The Martinis to start are the best in Palm Beach county!"
