"We were there with a large group and the service was fabulous. The food was outstanding, as were the desserts. I will be sure to return the next time that I am in the city. Fantastic meal. Great people. A true find in the City."

"Delicious food at extremely reasonable prices. I had the pre-fixe dinner for $22 and brought a bottle of wine (BYOB). The food was fresh and the portions were a lot larger than expected considering the value of the pre-fixe. I left completely stuffed."

"I've been to ABA many times and I LOVE the food. Unfortunately, this last time, there was a group of about 40 people on a big table and the waiting staff were busy with them. It tooks them way too long to take our orders and for the orders to get to our table. I would always come to ABA, but only when there is no such large group."

"We had Valentine's dinner at ABA. I will definitely go back. I think they are BYOB. I especially liked that they didn't over garlic everything like many Mediterranean restaurants do. It's very convenient to Carnegie Hall."

"Fair food - lentil soup was lovely, with hints of coriander and mint. Eggplant appetizer (without tomatoes) was delicious. My dining partner had the eggplant with tomatoes and olives, which was a little greasy - not a favorite. The entrees were just okay. My friend had a vegetable casserole, which was really a stew. My entree was a ground lamb and beef gyro with converted rice. The meat was dry, though flavorful. Desserts were awful. Gluey, set rice puddings. Maybe the baklava is better. The atmosphere is warm, very few people in the restaurant when we were there on a Wednesday night. While my experience there was fine, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to others, as it was quite uneven."
