  • "I always take advantage of A Voce's special menu for Restaurant Week, since it is such a great value. The food is high quality (although not as flavor-layered as when Missy Robbins was the chef) and not a slap-dash rendering of boring dishes (as in some participating restaurants). The pastas are lovely here, and there was a choice of chitarra with mussels in a saffron sauce. Very satisfying. I also was happy with a pureed pea soup - so summery fresh-tasting. Desserts are always good; this time a riff on tiramisu (with strawberries). There are also featured wines at special prices. Add to that, a beautiful view and good service. To me, this is a win/win."

  • "Had lunch during Restaurant Week NYC Summer 2014. Excellent meal, very professional and friendly waiter, great view, sophisticated decor, and did I mention the delicious meal. For our entrees, I chose the pancetta which was delicious pork belly prepared to perfection. My husband chose the grilled dorade - again just beautifully prepared and so good. Both dishes were outrageously delicious. Will definitely visit this restaurant again."

  • "the best thing was the central park view. the salad was supposed to have goat cheese - needed a magnifying glass to find it ! main course was small with no vegetables or pasta. the only desert offered was delicious. service very good. very noisy"

The sommellier The food! Definitely recommend it - Sambuca cream with scallops that were cooked to perfection. Loved it. On the down side.. its just too noisy!"

  • "From the bread and pesto to the last of the wine, everything is always well-presented, fresh and seasonal and delicious (sometimes a tad salty). Burrata was creamy with eggplant accompanying it. Ravioli was lick-the-plate satiating. My companion was equally happy with her branzino and the fried zucchini was perfectly crisp on the outside and steamy on juicy on the inside. Can't wait to go back."

  • "This was the best of the RW restaurants I've experienced this season! Classy, food was very, very nice with gourmet offerings befitting RW. I had the mussels with saffron pasta which was delicious as was the tiramisu! Green salad was well dressed with broiled (according to the waiter) lemon slices. Waiters were courteous, friendly and seemed really interested in what they were serving."

  • "I returned to Avoce Columbus Circle on 03-Aug-2014. Their special 2003 Dom Pérignon $50 by glass with 28oz. Tomahawk steak with black summer truffle was a deal!!!!! Two of us ordered Tuna crudo, Pancetta (must try and we ordered the 2nd one during dinner), and Calamari with smoked baby squid and lentil as starters and paired with a bottle of 1998 Taittinger champagne. For the main courses, 28oz Tomahawk steak and Octopus gnocchi were paired with a bottle of 1988 Amarone della Valpolicella. Finally, we had five selections of formaggi, espresso mascarpone tiramisu along with the espresso martini and cognac for dessert. Asked for the knowledgeable sommelier, Christian Lacombe, for wine choices and server, Rafael"

  • "i am delighted this has reopened after the fire in the kitchen, such a lovely place with friendly and welcoming staff, they always go the extra mile to accommodate my guests. Lovely foccaccia to start with and delicious pesto dip. We had the pasta ( excellent Ravioli, though i also love the beetroot cavatelli), the branzino was perfectly done, and the zucchini chips and peas sides stood out as delicious. the view helps, and so does the very extensive wine list."

  • "I called them and asked them to book me a table by the windows only 2 hours before my arrival. They told me they will do their best. When I arrived the restaurant was full, there were not a single empty table. However, my table by the window was ready. I worked in a restaurant before and I know how hard is to keep everybody happy. They always try. The food was very tasty and the service was great. I truly recommend sitting by the windows, since they have an outstanding view of Cristobal Columbus and the scenic view of Central Park."

Usuarry I order sparkling water but recenrty made by maciene by hand whichi is I don`t like I have to check first menu and what kind of wine I will have .... Then I can chose water I said to water please wait .... Then she never back and she was talking with coworker She forget my wine ... I was there before noon , not busy time but she forget  Food was alredy cooked and desert was so bad !!!"

  • "When the management learned that we were celebrating our anniversary, we were overwhelmed with the flattering attention we received. There is always one course, at least, that is incomparable. This visit it was an entrée of pork belly with fig, arugula and balsamic. We have never had anything like it. Dessert was fabulous."

  • "Since it was restaurant week the noise level was a bit energetic. Nevertheless service was properly attentive and professional. The orata was beautifully prepared; just delicious with no fishy odor whatsoever. The pancetta was also very tasty. One of my dining companions had a problem and arrived almost 2 hours late for lunch. After she was seated at our table, she was graciously served her 3 course lunch without any rushing, etc. We will be returning soon."

The dessert was pretty good, but there was only the one option. We had a very nice glass of inexpensive red wine, which I enjoyed very much."

  • "Food was chintzy, even for $25.00 Well prepared but very little. My companion had a fish filet so thin you could almost see through it. My pork belly had about one teaspoon of meat on it Single dessert was very nice, but a choice, even of sorbet, would have been a good idea if you don't like strawberry. Altogether, very disappointing."

  • "I've been to A Voce several times. The food is good--not outstanding, but consistently good. I went this time during Restaurant Week. The young maitre d' seemed inexperienced. She asked me to wait at the bar until my table was ready (which was strange, since I got there just as it was opening for lunch), then seemed to forget about me. She went on to seat two other parties who arrived after me, until she noticed me staring quite intently at her. I had an overly salty watercress salad, a nicely done fish, and an indifferent dessert. They did seat me near the window, overlooking Columbus Circle, which was nice, and the waitstaff was discreet and efficient. I'll be back, only because the food is fine, and the location convenient."

It's in the Time Warner building, so there's tons of space, and a nice view of Columbus circle, depending on where you're sitting. The wine list is huge, and our server was polite, friendly, and very attentive. All in all, it's a great spot for a leisurely lunch, and the food was top-notch. Can't recommend enough."

  • "I like coming to this restaurant even though it is on the pricier side. Although many people I know think that the Time Warner Building is a bit sterile, A Voce is definitely not. The food and wine are imaginative and the service is friendly without pretentiousness. Since the food is pricey, I would recommend you get some appetizers to share and a couple of pasta dishes to split as well along with their dessert which is exceptional. The place has a nice decor for considering that it is a very corporate building. I was dressed casual and never felt like I did not belong there nor was I made to feel uncomfortable by the service. All in all it is a good dining experience and I will certainly come back again."
