We drove 45 minutes (Friday eve. traffic) based on the reviews and it was worth it. The chicken liver pate starter with mango chutney and cornichons was smooth and flavorful served with delicious baguette slices. The Green Verte salad we shared was simple: lovely fresh greens, cherry tomato halves and a tangy vinagrette. We both had the rib eye steak, perfectly cooked and served with a custard like potato gratin and baby green beans with shallots which I could have had for my entire meal they were so perfect. The chocolate pots d' creme is delicious, super creamy and chocolatey. Service: friendly and professional. Pacing: spot on. We were there at 6:15 so ahead of the crowd. Dinner for three with $15 corkage fee for our own bottle of wine was $135, maybe just a bit pricey. But, the restaurant is very unique and comfortable. We liked our servers, and tip them we did. We actually sat at the bar as it had a nice view of the skyline, and the bartender was very sharp, knowledgeable and friendly with both the drink options AND the entire menu. Both service and food were top-notch. Our only "complaint" would be that we are never fans of the "banquette" seating where you are seemingly right on top of the people next to you (another reason we sat at the bar). Overall, lovely.
