"What an absolute gem of a find for us. We ventured to Mt. Baker from Capitol Hill (took us no time to get there, of course!) and we were enchanted the moment we walked in. The food is outstanding. The service is warm and knowledgeable. And what a view back to the city! We shall return - and soon."

"This place has it all: a great view, helpful and attentive staff who aren't too present, delicious food, relaxed atmosphere, and not too loud to enjoy a conversation. The tartines were so good that we almost had to rock-paper-scissors to see how to divide the last two. My husband's and my cod were perfectly seasoned and cooked, although, for me, the tomato/potato accompaniment was just ok. Both the lamb and vegetarian plate vanished before I could taste them. Lentils were amazing. Dining partner ate the chocolate pot de creme and did not share a spoonful. The bread pudding was very tasty and came in a generous portion. The wine went perfectly with the meal. Can't wait to go back to try more of the menu."

"Simple food prepared with amazing attention to flavor. Food rarely tastes this good any more, even in France. I had the rib-eye steak which was seasoned and seared beautifully. The potato gratin was more potatoey than any potatoes I have tasted and the green beans were amped up with an oniony spiceyness. All washed down with a very nice house Cotes du Rhone. We'll be back..."

"The restaurant has all that is wonderful about a good French bistro - casual atmosphere, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staff, and terrific, sophisticated bistro-style food at a reasonable price. I had the special, true cod, and my husband had the chicken. Both dishes presented a lovely blend and balance of flavors. The fish was perfectly done. The portions were generous. At the waitress' suggestion, we tried a relatievley inexpensive Muscadet - not something we ordinarily drink - and it was lovely with the food. And as a bonus, there is plenty of street parking -- unlike a lot of Seattle neighborhoods. We'll be back."
