  • "Quality of foods is excellent and I have to compliment the appetizer special as being well put together. Overall the food is very old fashioned in composition & plating with almost every main dish being a grilled meat with a sauce. Much too much beef on the menu for my liking. I did not see a pork option at all. The decor is dark and old fashioned. They've even enclosed they patio from the last time we visited. The whole place needs a thorough freshening with to hold up to the newer restaurant selections in Campbell."

  • "The food was excellent as usual----we had the lamb chops and osso buco. The minestrone soup had no beans or potato cubes---very good. The wine list is quite extensive---the amarone wines are excellent but need to breathe. The waitress provided a decanter. We have had the same waitress previously (mild Australian accent)---very knowledgeable about the food & wines and attentive to her tables. On prior visits we have also had an older male waiter who is also very good."

  • "This was a pre-Mother's Day dinner - our 1st time here (since it used to be Giuseppi's years ago). Had heard that the Gnocchi was great. Mom (Sheryle) got the Gnocchi Gorgonzola (Gorgonzola is our favorite cheese). It was a great disappointment. What a shame - the Gnocchi was light and creamy - but there was absolutely no hint of Gorgonzola - which spoiled the evening and high expectations. My plate - the Orechietti was so-so - it did not offset the Gnocchi disappointment. We spent just under $100. "

  • "I wish I knew the name of our waiter - he was a bit older of a true gentleman and I only mean that by years - he was as youthful and fun and very attentive! We weren't rushed - he shared a few laughs and words of wisdom with us but wasn't obtrusive! His food selections for what we describe we wanted were spot on - we'll definitely go back - Try it - you'll love it!"

  • "Brought my husband for his birthday. We were warmly greeted and sat down immediately. Our server was very warm, patient, and explained us through the specials and menu many times as it was our first time there. She was very attentive and I noticed constantly glancing over at our table to see if we needed anything. Gnocchi is a much try (appetizer portion). The appetizer special that day (similar to Caprese but with a softer creamy mozarella and prosciuotto had wonderful fresh ingredients. Husband had the scallops and I had the sea bass special. Both were wonderful. They also sang happy birthday with a slice of tiramisu on the house. Would definitely go back again to try other dishes. "

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed dining at A Bellagio. They made a really nice vodka strawberry martini with all fresh strawberries blended. It was great, and that should be added to the cocktail list! The seafood salad was excellent. And the cheese and tomato salad is quite nice. The salmon and sea bass on the menu were excellent. Overall the portions are nice, and for a local great Italian restaurant that is reasonably prices, A Bellagio is also a great place to go. "

  • "We had 8 family members, including an outgoing 10 year old together to celebrate my daughter-in-law's 30-something birthday. She is half Italian and we were looking for something that would have an authentic Italian feel. This place was perfect! We had a table on their outdoor enclosed patio and it was lovely and just private enough for us to enjoy our crazy family dynamic and not feel like we were disturbing others. Food was outstanding and our waiter did everything possible to make our celebration perfect."

  • "I have to say, I've been holding out writing a review for this place. I just came back from a restaurant that really knows how to create an experience and A Bellagio was the exact opposite. The Lobster ravioli was awful and had a fishy taste. Lobster should not taste like fish. It was also the first time dining in CA on valentines day where I can only order from a pre fix menu. I became even more upset when I saw the bill which for both meals came to well over 250.00 If I am going to spend that much for food it better blow my socks off and this meal did not. The waitress also had charged another tables meal on my card 3 times. I don't think I will ever go back (atleast if i'm paying) and it was a major embarrassment for a valentines dinner"

  • "Our first visit to Ballagios. . Our reservation was promptly acknowledged and we were seated promptly by the Matre D. Our waitress was pleasant with quick serving times for all of our courses. She did miss a call for a glass of wine with my wife's main course but it was a busy night and she was easily forgiven. The tables were very close together and set for parties of two. This was probably due to the Prix Fix special event. We have not eaten there previously so I can't comment further on the crowding. However, being careful no person's rear end shoved a fork down my throat as they squeezed by. The noise level was acceptable. The closeness of the tables did lead to some cross table banter that was engaging."

  • "This was a Valentine's dinner, so the high prices were expected. The issue was the poor food. The only choice on the menu was the entrée. The food was precooked and assembled in advance. It was like eating at a "Rubber Chicken" fund raiser. My salad had little dressing or fruit on it. It was like eating raw spinach leaves. The Appetizer was mixed: the Carpaccio was good, but the prawns were cold with an awful dressing. The cold puff pastry was dense and non-descript. The pasta course had good components if only it could have been served above ambient air temperature! The sea bass entrée had good flavor, but I really expect it to be served HOT. The Apple Strudel had almost no apples. No value for money and a really disappointing evening."

  • "We were disapointed in this restaurant - sweet salad dressing, too sweet; polenta was tooo salty AND sweet! Filet was well prepared and had a sweet crust, not too sweet, that made the meat melt. We don't eat out thart often, and this is why, Restaurants add lots of sugar salt and fat to all dishes. Reservation process was great with Open Table, it works!"

  • "Had high hopes after reading many glowing reviews. Pastas were prepared well (al dente); the carbonara and bolognese were really rich. Red wines were a little too warm. The profiteroles were not good; tasted stale and the chocolate sauce was way too sweet. Not sure we'll return."
