  • "Superb! I'm a frequent patron. We had Easter Brunch here."

  • "We had reservations for Sunday 7PM. The Waitress was not prepared. Set at the table waiting for the Waiter to refill water glass finally had to request Water. My Companion had Duck two ways and it was so tough that we had to send it back. The reputation surely does not add up to being a notable place to dine. I know I will not waste my time and money here anymore. "

  • "We have always loved this restaurant and have dined there numerous times and always had a great meal. We started off with an appetizer we have selected numerous times but they have changed it and now is way too heavy and breaded. I brought a very special wine and one that they did not carry and was informed of a $30 corkage fee. I was fine with a corkage fee (even though is the past if you ordered another bottle from them they waived the fee) but $30 is the highest corkage fee I have ever experienced. For dinner my wife had sea bass and it was very good. On servers recommendation I had pork so so bucco and while plentiful it was way too dry. Overall a bad $200 experience and will not go back."

  • "Our server was great, dinner was fine, nothing that I would rave about. The resturaunt was empty on Friday night. We had a table of 6: When dinner was delivered the waiter who brought it, handed my Aunt the fresh catch-she in fact ordered the scallops. The waiter looked puzzled so the manager came over and told my Aunt it would "a while" before she would get what she ordered. My wife then speaks up and tells him that her risotto wasn't cooked but he never fixed it. The manger here is terrible never once did he apologize for getting the wrong dinner and offered us nothing. My Aunt ate by herself, but te manager didn't care he still charged us full price! I'll save my money and go to the COLLEGE, RHETTS anywhere other than 95 Cordova!"

  • "A very fitting restaurant to be associated with the Casa Cordova Hotel, elegant!! St. Augustine, Florida has so much atmosphere in this very historical town, this restaurant tops off a busy sight-seeing day with a unique and very relaxing (unhurried) meal. The food was delicious, every course tasting better than the last!! Our server Kristen went far beyond being a regular server, she is friendly, thoughtful, and was going to make sure we enjoyed our meal. She also provided us with a lot of sight-seeing tips, which we appreciated. We will be dining with them again before we leave."

  • "The waiter who served us was fabulous. I had the New York Strip and my companion had the Filet Mignon, both were cooked to perfection. There was a large wedding taking place at the hotel at the time of our visit and our entrees were slow coming out from the kitchen, however the staff was very attentive and the restaurant generously compensated us with a complementarly glass of wine without asking. The ambience intially was perfect for a romantic meal, however as the meal progressed live musical entertainment, located at the edge of both the lounge and the restaurant, commenced and drowned out any subtle conversation. I would return to the restaurant and recommend it to a friend, but would be seated at the rear of the restaurant."

  • "Having stayed at the hotel for three nights, we found the restaurant to be convenient during a heavy rain storm, although we had reservations elsewhere. The crab cakes was divine, and the escargot was light but a few were tangy. The Caesar salad was large and the anchovies were quite fresh. We had the medallions special, and although ordered medium rare is was medium, but tender and enjoyable. Our server was busy with a large party, and was seldom seen....we had to ask for bread and silverware. He also didn't take off the discount when charging it to the room, even when we had asked..( that happened two nights in a row so you wonder if it's a management trap?)"

  • "Loved the Moroccan decor and relaxed atmosphere. We could hear the music from the bar area but it was intrusive, just a nice background. Food excellent."

  • "Both the duck 2 ways and the filet mignon with a seafood ragout were excellent."

  • "We had a small wedding party for 4 and were treated as if it were a banquet for 100! The wait staff was attentive to our needs and our waiter was excellent. He was very knowledgeable of the wine list and gave us some excellent suggestions. All in all, an excellent experience."

  • "Service was outstanding, downhill from there. Seated in a small room, not the main dining room where we wanted, food was not the caliber I would expect from an elegant restaurant, very dissapointing.drinks from the bar were rather unipressive as well. On the up side, we did not let our expensive disappointing meal spoil the rest of our nigh!"

  • "My wife and I went to 95 Cordova for our Anniversary and was very pleased with the server (Mark). He was attentive and not over bearing. The staff was very friendly and worked with me to surprise my wife with flowers as well as dinner."

  • "Helpful and really professional service was the first factor in making it a memorable dining experience, the second being the imaginative menu and a kitchen that knows how to deliver top quality dishes to the table. My only regret is that I am usually too far away to go back again, and again - I live in Miami Beach and Mayfair in London!"

  • "We had a relaxing evening dining in a historical setting. Beautiful setting. Service was excellent allowing us to enjoy the food and not feel at all rushed. The food was done to perfection . I highly recommend the scallops!"

  • "I took my Sweetheart here for her birthday. We were seated at a table in a very cramped dining room. We were directly beside a group of eight loud older gentlemen who had been drinking for some time. Within ten minutes, another couple was seated close to us, whom we felt like family since we were basically in their conversation due to the lack of space between us or the level of volume you had to speak in order for your other party to hear you. The music was nice but the band (Approx 50 feet away) was too loud for us to enjoy a romantic evening. The food was dry but edible and definitely not to the caliber we are accustomed to. However, the server was prompt and nice building."

  • "We have dined at this restaurant several times over the past couple of years and always been happy with the food and especially the service. However this experience was far below par, we waited over 20 minutes to have our wine orders taken and another 30 to have our entree orders taken. I had the duck two ways and the fried portion was severely over cooked, it was burnt and dry. Te Escargot was rubbery and the pasta was not al dente. Spending over $350 dollars on a dinner should guarantee good service. Hopefully they were just having an off night, but I will be waiting awhile before returning."

  • "Elegant, not pretentious, food exquisietly prepared and well presented , beautiful surroundings, great service. , friendly without being too familiar, a fine experience. Bob and Midge Woods PS Bar ftenders were attentive and courteous also...Martini's were made to perfection."

  • "Food-delicious and cooked to perfection. Waiter and hostess genuinely appeared to love their job and the place of work. A perfect place to have dinner out with your spouse with the atmosphere that swept away the day to day cares, worries and obligatins."

  • "We have dined here before and we have always enjoyed. The steaks are wonderful! I had a filet mignon and my husband the strip. They were very good as were the sides. Would recommend highly"

  • "We mentioned on our reservation that it was our one year anniversary and that we were married at the restaurants accompanying hotel. However, towards the end of the meal, there was no mention of our celebration. Quite disappointing. Food was good though. I would simply recommend going there for a simple dinner. Try not to celebrate anything. Once they start getting busy, the service slips."

  • "When I booked this reservation I was unaware that there was going to be a set menu for Valentines Day. 2 days before our arrival to St Augustine I received a call from a representative of the restaurant informing me there would be a set menu that evening with a $90 per person price, not including any beverages!! I tried to find another nice restaurant but by that time a reservation anywhere else was not available. So we sucked up the price and went. We were disappointed!! won't be going back."

  • "What a great place. The food, the wine, the service...all were amazing. The fried green tomatoes are a must try - Not to mention the amazing sea bass. You will not be disappointed."

  • "Sunday Brunch was not much to write home about. The highlights were the freshly prepared food stations: great pasta station and omelets. The lowlights were any item cooked ahead and in a warmer, which is most of it, since they were dry, not hot and lacked flavor. Service was fairly poor since we had used plates and empty water glasses on our table for way too long. This was a disappointment and I don't think we'll bother spending the $30/person here for brunch again."

  • "The restaurant is wonderfully quiet. One guest wore hearing aids and was able to follow the conversation very well. All the tables were occupied, but we did not notice conversations from other parties. It felt very private. The food was delicious. It is a european style, old fashioned restaurant with table clothes. It is an elegant, relaxed private atmosphere with wonderful service."

  • "Everything was great except parts of the five course dinner lacked a little seasoning. Besides that definitely a night to remember."

  • "Our Valentine's Date was beautiful. Greeted by a red rose across the table, the cocktails and wine pours were generous, the special menu for the night offered the variety we look for, and an alteration was made when we asked. As usual, the food was prepared as the day dictated, "with love." I thoroughly enjoyed the Black Grouper stuffed with Crab, and my wife loved her perfectly medium rare fillet. Service was attentive, but not overbearing. We'll certainly be back."

  • "While the food and service were good, the ambiance was lacking. It was for a valentines dinner and we were sat in spot near the hotel bar/lobby. Very loud and not desirable. I left feeling as if the $300 spent on a dinner for 2 was a waste."

  • "I went for Valentines Day, and it was amazing! It was definitely the most expensive meal I have every bought, but the saying "you get what you pay for" is accurate at the restaurant. They had a set menu for Valentines day, with a full 4 course meal. I had the fillet minion and it was among the best I have had."

  • "We ate at Cordova 95 last year it was very good. This year we decided to go again, the menu was very limited . Two salads, two appetizers Five entree's, and one dessert. My husband and brother got rack of lamb and my sister in law and I got the filet of beef. both were very good . But then the one dessert that was offered was banana in a caramel sauce, not anything Chocolate for Valentine's Day. I guess two out of four isn't bad. We don't mind paying for a good meal but at 95$ per person the options should have been better and at least the salad edible. Will definitely make different plans next year unless they get a new chef with some imagination."

  • "I did not think it was worth the money we spent on Valentine Day. The salad we had the cheese was over cooked on the shell bowel and there was barely any greens. The appetizers where good. My husband had the fish and rice the fish was over cooked and had a strong fish taste. I had the lamb and was very pleased, when they brought out desert I could not believe we had to share the desert 2 slices of bananas 2 stuff churros (the size of your palm) and 8 nuts for $89.00 each I will never go back when they do a combo again. I have eaten dinner their before and have always left happy and did not spend $89.00 a piece on dinner I am not sure what happen on Valentine day my husband and I left hungry and went to Sunset grill."

  • "The people at 95 Cordova did a nice job on the menu for the evening. It was the right amount of variety on a purposefully limited menu. We enjoyed tasting and sharing our dinner choices. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. It was a very pleasant evening."

  • "My wife, son and I love 95's Sunday brunch. I expected that to translate over into their daily dinner experience as well. Honestly, for the price, I thought it could have been much better. It was a fine experience, as always; but the food was high-average in my personal opinion. If you are considering 95 Cordova, I would highly suggest their Sunday brunch over a regular dinner. I don't rate the experience bad at all... just not $300 good. Brunch is much more price-to-happiness."

  • "My friend and I were very pleased with our experience at 95 Cordova. Upscale menu, one of the nicest dining rooms around, and right in the heart of St. Augustine, FL. Service was exceptional professional. For the price we also found that the portion sizes were very generous."

  • "The wait staff is the best I have seen. All of them were very courteous and wanted to be sure be were having a good experience."
    Dined on 1/31/2014
  • "Good brunch, lots of buffet choices so service is minimal...noted in reservation that we were celebrating a birthday, dining experience was very impersonal from hostess to wait staff...don't need any more than someone expressing a Happy birthday to the birthday person since we thought we were going some place special."

  • "95 Cordova was a fantastic treat for a small family event for parents, aunt and uncle. Jim who was our main waiter was very attuned to their needs and took the time to help them each order form the menu. The private label Bohemian wines from Raymond were outstanding and a fun addition. For starters the fried green tomatoes, crispy duck egg rolls, and blackened scallops were all superb. For the main courses the duck two ways was the only average meal with the Kessler Chop House steak, the Bahamian Lobster Risotto, and the Pork Osso Bucco all stand outs. If you are in St. Augustine the décor and ambience of 95 Cordova and the Casa Monica are a treat not to be missed even if you can't book a room at the hotel. Live jazz in the bar afterwards!"
