  • "Decor takes you back to turn of the century grandour of old Florida. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Nice change from all the fried seafood on other menus!"

  • "This was our first visit to Cordova 95. The food and drinks were wonderful. Mark, our server was exceptional. We will definitely be returning, soon. This may turn into our new favorite restaurant."

  • "From the atmosphere to the food everything was amazing!! The sea bass was to die for!! As well as the duck and warm apple dessert! Will definitely come back!!"

  • "Superb cuisine and service. All the waiters and captains are friendly, courteous, and attentive. Great atmosphere and relatively quiet so it is easy to talk to your table guests. Overall, it is a cut above any restaurant in the area. I only wish that the dress code was not so relaxed there, as it is a restaurant that one wants to dress up to go to."

  • "We enjoyed our waitor, “Scot” who was very sweet and attentive. Our ONLY issue was the music...ick! Techno XM was totally wrong for the vibe we were going for and we mentioned it to the manager who came around to greet us. He dutifully checked it out and reported it was a “corporate thing” well....hey corporate! It’s time for a station change.....no one in the restaurant was an age where that music would have been appreciated."

  • "It had been several years since we last dined at 95 Cordova and decided to take our special guests from Madrid, Spain for a good dining experience while in St. Augustine. We were seated promptly and enjoyed good conversation until I began to notice that our waiter, Scott, had not yet greeted our table (the restaurant was nearly empty at the time). He took five or more minutes following to provide us water and our wine order. Ten minutes later, my wife asked him if they would serve us bread with the meal and he then complied. Percy, the manager, refilled our bread order attentively. It took fifteen minutes to receive our dessert order. We will think twice before returning to this restaurant due to very average service. Unengaged server!"

  • "We are new to the area and have been looking for quality fine dining. 95 Cordova came highly recommended as a special occasion restraint. The meal started well with good quality apps served hot. The duck egg roll and crab cakes were both quality dishes. We should have stopped there. This is NOT a steakhouse! They do not know how to cook a steak to requested temp nor do they know how to season. We ordered 2 "prime" steaks. I believe them to be choice at best. Both nearly inedible due to over seasoning and over cooking. We had to ask for butter to place on top of our steaks and wash them from the excessive seasoning. We do not send food back as a matter of policy. I wonder if they ever taste their own food?"

  • "We always look forward to our dining at 95 Cordova because of the elegant atmosphere, charm, and superb service. Nonetheless, the Chef's exquisite meal preparation and excellence is, of course, the reason we were there. Our highest compliments to the Chef, our servers, Martin, Percy, and all who made our evening another delightful life experience to treasure!"

  • "Does the Title of this review sound "hum-drum" to you? Oh, contrare..... This place hits home runs each and ever time we come here to dine whether its brunch, lunch or dinner. It is coming to the point were my wife and I simply head from Hammock Dunes to 95 Cordova without thinking of going anywhere else. If we rode Horse and Buggy, our horse would be 'barn-sour' for this place. Truth be told, there are a few, very few other places we love to visit, but the other places hours don't start until 4:00 p.m. and my bride and I usually enjoy a late lunch as our preference. So, 95 Cordova, HERE WE COME !!!"

  • "An outstanding time was held at 95 Cordova. We were greeted by name upon arrival and immediately seated at the table we had requested. We told our waiter we were there to dine and have the opportunity to talk with our daughter and son-in-law. We took our time drinking a cocktail and eating. Not once did we feel rushed. Food was excellent as was service. Perhaps the best place in St. Augustine for a quiet, no hurried, special dining experience."

  • "Felt the tables were high, chairs dated. Food was good, but had a chip in my glass that cut my lip. Was served my salad at the same time as my entree. $40 steak that was supposed to be medium was well done. Asked for no walnuts in my salad, and I got them."

  • "We recently dined at 95 Cordova restaurant & enjoyed a wonderful leisure dinner. Our waiter was very attentive but did not rush our dining experience. My husband had the sea bass & I had the 5 oz. Filet, both entree's were delicious. My vodka & tonic was weak on the vodka. A good restaurant for a special occasion, but on the pricey side."

  • "Awesome spot to celebrate my husband's birthday. The wine pairing dinner was exceptional. Great attention had been given to the pairings and everything was delicious. The one modificaiton we asked for was accomodated without complaint or resistance. Will definitely go back when in St. Augustine."

  • "I confess I have been dining at the Casa Monica Hotel / 95 Cordova Restaurant for some time. I didn't find out about their relationship with OpenTable until just last week. My wife and I have truly never been disappointed; NEVER. A special 'thank you' to Chef Aaron not only for his obviously highly skilled culinary talents, but his concern to deal with my wife's food allergies. I recommend 95 Cordova highly to anyone who wants to step back and thoroughly enjoy a meal as a fine dining experience. Their obviously well-trained staff are as subtle as any could possibly be. You’ll love it. I promise that. Michael-Edward."

  • "95 Cordova is in the Casa Monica Hotel in St. Augustine's Old Town District. The historic hotel has been beautifully restored and the restaurant is beautiful. The menu for both lunch and dinner is varied, delicious, and the food presentations - artistic. I'd highly recommend anyone visiting St. Augustine to treat themselves to a meal at 95 Cordova. Lunch prices, in particular, are no more expensive than most of it's neighboring cafes and restaurants."

  • "Visited the restaraunt a few times in the past five years and generally had a good experience. Unfortunatley brought some new friends recently and was disappointed to be seated too close to the live music which wad too loud for such an elegant place while also hearing the music from a wedding in another room. Was moved after I insisted and was seated in a better spot. My filet w shrimp was ok but the steak was not medium as ordered but I didnt send back since we had already been delayed due to the wait for the bew table. My guests were not impressed and I was disappointed. "

  • "Planned my husband's surprise birthday party at 95 Cordova. I would say everything went without a hitch minus the fact that the hostess ruined the surprise the moment I stepped in with my husband. All the guests had arrived seated and was waiting quietly for the guest of honor to arrive and surprise him, however, the hostess said, "Oh you're here for the surprise birthday party?". To which my husband looked at me and said "surprise party huh", I hung my head down and was a bit upset by this. Epic fail on her part! Albeit that hiccup, the food was excellent, the ambiance was beautiful and reminded us of the Moorish influence in Spain. Would go again, but would avoid planning any surprise parties whatsoever."

  • "We are never disappointed with the quality of the food or with the beautiful dining room. We were a little disappointed with the quality of the service this visit. It was slow and very disorganized. Fortunately, that is not the norm for our typical dining experience at 95 Cordova."

  • "A lot of restaurants provide either good food, good ambience, or good service. Due to the price-tag, I had assumed it was going to have all 3. Unfortunately, the only thing that my wife and I enjoyed was the ambience. The service was fine, but felt like the waiter was phoning it in, and the food was extremely forgettable."

  • "Our server was extremely attentive and the food was artistically presented. Went for a pre Mother's Day luncheon and was not disappointed! All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. "

  • "We were staying at the World Golf Village and were tired of the one restaurant food there so asked the concierge to recommend a place. He had no hesitation with 95 Cordova for the best steaks. We started with the grilled shrimp - the sauce was wonderfully sticky and spicy. Then I had the duck 2 ways and my husband had the New York. Both were succulent and delicious. We finished off with the Key Lime pie which was a real treat. The service was excellent as well."

  • "The ambience and food were superb! This service was outstanding. The piano and bass jazz music was incredible. My wife and I plan to stay there for our next getaway!"

  • "I came across the website while looking at another restaurant that a family member liked... mixed reviews led me to look for another St. Augustine restaurant and that was how we found 95 Cordova! Great food, beautiful hotel and the service was very good as the waiter (Elvis) recommended the special "Red Grouper" and it was outstanding! My wife is a picky eater and she loved the Savannah Grits, so that means we will be back very soon to dine again!"

  • "Creative mix of favors!, needs better waiter to table ratio but server was very good"

  • "We booked a table for 5 pm in the back part of the room so we could have some quiet time before the majority of dining guests arrived later in the evening. That was perfect. The food was absolutely terrific, but the menu choices were limited. The shrimp and grits was outstanding, the steak as well. If you use valet parking, be sure to get your parking ticket stamped by the restaurant for a $10 discount. "

  • "We had reservations for Sunday 7PM. The Waitress was not prepared. Set at the table waiting for the Waiter to refill water glass finally had to request Water. My Companion had Duck two ways and it was so tough that we had to send it back. The reputation surely does not add up to being a notable place to dine. I know I will not waste my time and money here anymore. "

  • "Superb! I'm a frequent patron. We had Easter Brunch here."

  • "For$65 per person for brunch I was disappointed. There was a carving station with dry meats. The breakfast selection was good as was the oysters and shrimp bar. Pasta bar disappoints! Service was attentive and ambiance was nice. Suitable for kids but price was high. For 3 of us bill was $222 and we learned that someone altered our final bill adding an additional $40 tip to an already paid tip left in cash. I've called the restaurant manager twice to inquire and receive an adjustment and explanation. No returned call or acknowledgement. This is unacceptable. Diners beware!"

  • "We have always loved this restaurant and have dined there numerous times and always had a great meal. We started off with an appetizer we have selected numerous times but they have changed it and now is way too heavy and breaded. I brought a very special wine and one that they did not carry and was informed of a $30 corkage fee. I was fine with a corkage fee (even though is the past if you ordered another bottle from them they waived the fee) but $30 is the highest corkage fee I have ever experienced. For dinner my wife had sea bass and it was very good. On servers recommendation I had pork so so bucco and while plentiful it was way too dry. Overall a bad $200 experience and will not go back."
