"We were very pleased with our dining experience at 89. The food was very good and all of the staff -from the hostess, to the bartender, to the waiter were extremely polite and helpful. This restaurant is very customer friendly--even has free valet parking which is so nice in the downtown area."

"The food is pretty good, especially considering the price of it. The venue is really cool, because they seem to have maintained a lot of the original features. I've not had chance to sit outside, but it looks like a nice patio. In there for dinner on a Friday the service was a little slower than I expected, but not bad."

"We had a wonderful evening at 89. We started off enjoying some drinks and appetizers at the bar during happy hour--great happy hour prices and it lasts until 7!!! Then we had a wonderful dinner with great service. 89 has a large outdoor patio and we will be back when the weather is warmer to enjoy it!"

"Saturday night had a great dinner. We started with cocktails and appetizers at the bar, try the oysters rockefeller, best I have ever had. For dinner we had the Salmon and Scallops both were great and cooked perfectly. had a great bottle of wine with dinner, very reasonably priced Kings Estate Pinot Gris. Too full for dessert but we took the chocolate torte home, yum. Did not untill we pulled up that the valet service was complimentary! wow!"

"It's a new restaurant. We understand. And we ate there in the middle of the afternoon. We know that it was an off time. Still, the basics of the restaurant - variety of menu items, adaptability of orders, service, etc. - were sub-par. The food was fine - prepared well enough - but the portions were small for the price we paid. Wine costs were on the high side as well - a good $1-2 a glass compared to most other restaurants. The server was also inattentive. Even though I specified certain things about my order, she returned to our table and asked me to repeat several of them. Not good."
