The place is beautiful, the wait staff, host, even kitchen staff come around to ask how things are ... I'd prefer them to lower the background music, get a bit better on how to use their lighting (lots of lights, but no mood set with them), and get a few signature mains. I've been wanting to try this place for a while and I would go back on a busy night to check out the bar side. This is what we needed for that part of 17th avenue... The menu had lots of enticing choices. The Ivy salad and beet and goat cheese salads were both rated highly, especially enjoyed the yellow beets. The regular coffee was very good and the sticky toffee pudding with Amaretto ice cream that we shared was delicious, not too sweet. The server was great even though she was new. Everyone was smiling and made us feel welcome. Food came out pretty fast and loved every bit of everything we ordered. I had heard from a few friends that it was a good place but it beat out my expectations. The services was great, the food even better and the atmosphere was beautiful (taking a few decorating idea for my own house). Prices were very fair considering the quality of food you are eating!

The only draw back is the seating is a bit too close to each other...could over hear bits of conversation at next tables.
