Traveling 8000 miles together from the city of Chongqing in China, our two chef partners and our operating partner developed plans years ago to open a Chinese and Japnese restaurant together combining all their skills, in Chinese cuisine, and Japanese techniques. They partnered with ex-lettuce… entertain you partner and veteran restauranteur Ed Culleeney (Ben Pao, currently pl8 in Barrington) 8000 Miles menu will be comprised of Chinese and Japanese small plates like tuna avocado sumiso and hand grenades with traditional items as crab rangoon and sichuan spicy dumplings. Main dishes will be combined from the two other restaurants (TL's Four Seasons and PL8) like chong ching noodle soup, dried chili chicken, thai basil shrimp, black pepper garlic beef to list a few.
Sushi will be a highlight with maki rolls featuring triple k.c., sakura roll, snow crab roll, fireworks salmon and crunchy lobster, with additional sashimi and nigiri. A great bar with many specialty drinks to please.Continued
