71 PalmMother's Day at 71 PalmOrdered the fillet steak sandwich...yum!!! It was a great day in Ventura so we sat outside. Had loads of attention from our server. It was much quieter than inside. I feel like I'm visiting his French country restaurant. For Mother's Day 7 of us were welcomed and fed from a selection of specials designed to tempt and enjoy. Salads, wonderful starters, great wine, bread. Everyone in our group was having a wonderful time and you could tell that the entire restaurant was filled with happy people. The food is consistently very good, with generous portions. Very lovely place and the food is always wonderful -well done.
We did have a table inside, but since we needed privacy and quiet, we decided to sit out on the front porch area to dine. We were offered a table by the bar, but again, that would have been lacking. Sitting outside is a great way to dine and the heaters made it more comfortable.
