His food preparation and presentation continue to be wonderful. The wait staff is professional and knowledgable. There was little turnover so we could not get a seat but there was standing room (shared with the servers passing by to the bar tables.) The decor is modern but not too and there was just enough background noise (music and diners) that it was easy to hear conversation. Hostess and waitress were very accommodating and we had no problem tailoring a dish for food allergies. Food was delicious. Salmon and duck pasta were the standout entrees. We ordered the Salami plate for an appetizer. These were house cured meats that were so good. For dinner, I ordered the Arugula Salad and a pasta dish. Both were wonderful. My fiance ordered the rabbit which was heavenly. Of note, on open table I put it was for a birthday. Our waitress had made a note of that a head of time and brought out dessert with a candle for my Fiance. It was very busy and noisy at times, but overall a good experience. It is an affordable way to sample various restaurants, particularly those that are on the pricier side. The wine was great. The service was outstanding. For appetizers, we had the arancini, meatballs and chick pea fritters. The fritters were a little spicy and the arancini was so-so... but the meatballs rocked. We had the tagliarini... it was very good, but needed a little seasoning. The warm toffee pudding for dessert was fantastic...yum, yum, yum. Soon, I think I will sit in the bar, have a martini and a salad... and the warm toffee pudding. And I will definitely be back for restaurant week. The food was very creative unlike many restaurant week menus and incredibly delicious. The service is wonderful as the staff makes everyone feel like they are the only ones in the place, even when busy.
