  • "This is always a wonderful place to dine and celebrate a special occasion. We were a little disappointed with our meal - it was not as special as it usually has been and the prices had increased. The menu is adequate but would be better if it were expanded somewhat (i.e. more choices for sides and explanation about substituting small salad for a side). As always, the staff was exceptional. We have been going to 619 for our wedding anniversary for several years and last year, when the staff found out, they "gifted" us with a dessert. We did not make a big production but we did tell the hostess and our waitress that it was our anniversary and that we always celebrate it there, but we did not have the same reaction as we did last year."

  • "I've been going to 619 for a couple of years and I found the food to be good to very good. The wait staff are always attentive and view is great. On my last visit I tried the pork chops for the first time. They were outstanding. Probably one of the best meals I have had in sometime. 619 is generally quiet unless they have a big group and then it is energetic. The views are great and parking is easy."

  • "We frequented Ocean View many times in the past and were pleased with the excellent service and quality of food. While the recent renovations did improve the decorating of the restaurant, the ambiance, service and charm went out the door with the old furniture. My husband ordered the scallops (in the past 6 were served, now it's 5 scallops),my daughter &I ordered filet (which tasted stale), the green beans were to be pan prepared had the taste and quality of the microwave. The previous matre dame who had a simple elegance of checking on the diners, is gone. Colleen who was a staple in this establishment, is apparently gone too, and replaced with a young staff. Too bad, it now feels and tastes just like any other Marriott restaurant."

  • "If you don't have a blucb membership, this is the choice you have to see the ocean while diining. The casula club/bar downstairs was more appealing but we ate in the adult portion and it was OK. Servers were nice but it felt a bit overdone with the table settings and bench that was too low."

  • "Everything from the food, to the service, to the view was incredible. The duck flat bread appetizer was on point. One of best filets I've had in a very long time cooked to perfection with tasty collard greens on the side. Washing down dinner with the sea salted brownie and ice cream was the icing on the cake. My gf and I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend to anyone who enjoys good food, company, and a view of the ocean!"

  • "Not even in the same neighborhood as Ruth Chris or Chops in Atlanta. The biggest part of the evening that the staff raved about was how beautiful the Moonrise on the ocean would be at 7:09pm. The hostess of this large group that was sitting in the corner decided to take her very large group onto the patio and totally obstruct our view. One of the staff came by just as they went and said "oh you have a perfect view, oh well not anymore". At that point my wife and I both were irritated to the point we decided it was time to leave. I would not recommend this restaurant, it is ridiculously overpriced and the food other than their signature sides was very lackluster."

Fresh seafood, flavorful and ample. Our table throroughly enjoyed the roasted grouper and the sea scallops. Highly recommend."

  • "We spend the evening with very special friends and had a great time with good food and wine. At 9.42 the manager walked by our table with the words: "time to get out of here, ok?" He then pursued to lock the door to the upper Patio. Needless to say, we were stunned and so was the very nice and very accommodating Waiter, Kelly, after we told him what just happened. We were the last guests, it was a Weeknight, but so what? We obviously will not return to this kind of establishment. Unfortunately our special night with dear friends ended on a bitter note, talking on the way home about this very sad incident, instead of "what a great evening we just had"."

  • "Food is good, even though they tend to run out of items that are standard on their menu. Our service was extremely slow. We even had a different server clean our table and a different server give us our check. Don't know what happened to our server after she served our meal, she never came back to our table. There were also tables around us that were seated after us that that was greeted before we were and if course they were served before we were."

  • "It was a chilly night, otherwise we would have enjoyed eating outside since the resatauant is right on the ocean. As far as the food and service, my wife and I found both to be excellent. Also a good wine list at reasonable prices.I had the mahi mahi and my wife had the scallops. Both were served hot and prepared well. They apparently made some improvements and are working on others but we found the atmosphere to be a little old fashioned, bland and tired looking. Some color and decorative touches would add to the experience. Otherwise, we were very pleased with the food and service and will return in the future."

  • "Ocean View's new Miami look decor is a great update! Colleen, our server was attentive and made our 11 year old daughter feel so welcome in a grown up restaurant. We enjoyed the scallop appetizer, hearts of romaine salad, lobster bisque, lamb chops, mediterranean grouper, etc. The highlight was the dessert, an amazing cream brulee gelato; beautiful presentation."

  • "Thanksgiving buffet. Food ok nothing great for $50.00 per person. The manager Gjeori (I think that is his name. I got it off his name tag, When I asked for it he refused to give it to) was one of the rudest restaurant personnel I ever meet. We were members of this club for over 10 years until they continued to raise prices and it did not sense. I always liked the ocean view so we occasionally stop by for diner. I will not be back after this experience. I mentioned this to several golfing buddies and then made comment they have had similar experiences. I wonder why the Sawgrass Marriott went bankrupt. It seems like they are always making physical changes to the restaurant when they should be making management changes."

  • "We arrived promptly on a Sunday night. The host at this point disappeared and, 25 minutes later, we were finally seated and offered water. Now the waiter disappeared. Later, a different server appeared and informed us that they were out of several items, so that reduced the choices on the one page menu. The wine we selected was also unavailable, so they brought out a substitute. When we got the bill the wine was $30 more than our original choice (and past its prime to boot). Food quality was good. Decor was bland and oddly unwelcoming, due to the overwhelming use of beige and large undecorated walls. The view of the ocean was excellent. All in all, a strange experience I'm not sure I'd want to repeat."
