The restaurant was very good at accomodating our large group. My steak was tough and very expensive. The garlic mashed potatoes were very salty and didn't seem fresh. The waiter was commenting that the Caesar Salads were being made up in the back, and we couldn't understand what he meant! Did he mean they weren't making them tableside? It's a few steps down from a Ruth Chris.

My son and his girlfriend had given up beef for Lent and so we decided rather than take them to an Easter Sunday Brunch we would take them out for a steak dinner that night. As we walked in my son's girlfriend commented she just liked the smell of this place - it smelled and looked like a traditional old fashioned steak house. The service was imbeccable. The steaks were great. The wine was awesome. A great night was had by all.

Consistently excellent food and service, plus great wines. The restaurant was packed on a Thursday night (which was great to see) but the level of service and food were not compromised in any way.
We eat here a couple times a month, or more, and often we sit at the bar and eat lighter fare which is equally as good. Strongly recommend 555.

555 once again gave us the best in prime steaks, chocolate souffle cake and friendly, efficient service. Steaks were cooked perfectly. A classic baked potato had crisp skin and a fluffy inside capped with butter. Busy, but relaxing and unrushed on a fairly early Saturday evening. Not all of the tables are great; some are a little "in the line of fire," and a couple are downright cold and drafty, but the food and service are outstanding. Nice piano player also. We've been going there for years and will keep going back.

Took a friend here for dinner; awesome service with high-end food that cannot be beaten. We had a fantastic waiter, who made smart food recommendations and served us promptly but without being overbearing. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and exceeded our high expectations. This is a great restaurant for when you're craving steak to celebrate a special occasion.
