525 at The Berry BurkWow , Great FoodEverything was fantastic! Great food. Great service. Great ambiance. What more is there?5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMmother's dayThe food was well prepared and tasty. The service was excellent. It was a great Mother's Day brunch. It was quiet enough to enjoy a conversation and service was spot on with out being intrusive. Since it was a Sunday morning the streets were not busy so there was no way to tell if the outside noise at other times would be a problem. Definitely a recommendation for brunch.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMDowntown gemGreat menu, wine list, and fantastic service. First time we'd visited Berry Burk, and will recommend it to everyone.5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic Tuesdays. BottleFantastic Tuesdays. Bottle of wine is half price. My waiter remembers every bottle I've had and always has a new suggestion. While the food is most likely the best in RVA, it has proven to be the most consistence. The view ain't too shabby either!4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMohhhhhh ahhhhhhhhhWith two young kids, my husband and I don't get to dine out as much as we like. And we have a long list of RVA must-god, so it is hard to choose. But I heard great things about Berry Burke, so I knee we had to try it.Everything from the atmosphere to the service, from the menu to the food was beyond expectation. I ohhhhed over everything starting with the butternut squash fondue app straight through to the bread pudding and 20-year-old port. I was blown away. And that isn't easy to do.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful restaurant! TheWonderful restaurant! The drinks and food are amazing! When we step into the restaurant, we thought we were in New York. Will come again!!!!4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious food, good service, emptyMy husband and I went on a Wednesday evening so perhaps that accounted for the lack of bar scene and empty dining room. There were only two other tables of diners, and one lone person at the bar. Nevertheless, the food was delicious (I had the scallops and risotto). I might try it again on a busier night.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMInteresting menu. Waiter wasInteresting menu. Waiter was very mindful to balance gracious service with curtain time at CenterStage following dinner.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMTruly a very pleasant diningTruly a very pleasant dining experience on a rainy Easter afternoon. Our waitress and the entire staff were most efficient. Sunday brunch menu had adequate options. Look forward to a return visit.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMGood lunch spot for downtown.Good lunch spot for downtown. Interesting menu. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable! The filet with chèvre mashed potatoes was cooked perfectly and the potatoes were fluffy and flavorful! We ordered the chocolate lava cake for dessert and it was decadent! It was quieter than we' have guessed for a Saturday but that was okay. A lovely evening all around.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMSurprisingly greatSurprisingly good. Place was slammed for the theater crowd when we arrived but cleared out after 7:30 p.m. We had a long leisurely dinner and the waiter was great. Didn't pester us and didn't ignore us either. Can't recall the gentleman's name but one of the better waiters we have experienced in Richmond. We were sat at their peack capacity with a bunch of people getting checks to catch the sympohony across the street at 8:00 p.m. so the waitstaff was utterly slammed. Surprisingly, we didn't get ignored during the big rush. Food was fantastic. Sort of tapas style where portions are half entree sizes. Lots of seafood. We had the mussels, sea scallops and pork ribeye with their delicious pear salad. Great experience3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat location for eveningGreat location for evening at the Carpenter Center.
